I'm not sure I have anything relevant to post! I don't know what made me suddenly think about this forum, but I had an urge to check it out for the first time in ages, and it was so strange to see a post of mine from five years ago - must be much longer than that since the original forum, I guess.

Wow, how time flies and things change. I'm a wife and a mummy now (to a three-year old little girl), starting out as a freelance writer and still loving music - getting my daughter into lots of good stuff too (get in there early!). Haven't played her any Clearlake yet, so I'm going to do that right now!!

Would be ace to see some Clearlake-related liveness in Bristol again sometime. I'll have to keep checking...

Hope everyone involved with the band is well and happy - Brighton has the first Green MP - yay, that's good!

Any festival plans? I'm looking forward to Glasto and End of the Road - love festival season.

Hey! There's a name from the past. Fellow Bristolian here, we've only met once I believe. Did you come to the Louisiana gig in September 2008? That was a great show and I really want them to come back. At some point I will ask them nicely I think, they can always say no. I miss seeing them, both on a musical and personal level.

No concrete Clearlake news at the minute but they're still amongst us and a lot of work has been done on the fourth album. They should also be doing a track for the Cardiacs tribute album, being put together to help with the medical bills of frontman Tim Smith.

Keep checking in though... if it doesn't look like the website gets updated much lately, or that there's not much activity on this board, that's because there's not too much happening. I promise as soon as there's something, I'll make sure the web is full of it.

In the meantime, seek out the Facebook group if you haven't already (already in place) and the fan page (which I'm only just setting up and will publicise more once it's fully done), and definitely treat yourself to Jason's solo album which is brilliant (and features Clearlake as the band on the last two tracks)... that's on the website. And Jason plays some solo gigs here and there too.
