So, I'm getting hitched in a week, good times, good times. The reception starts at 7.30, so we'll need about 75mins of music, then 2hr karaoke session (i know, i know), then 2.5hr more music.
So far we've come up with three hours music - i'm yet to assemble it, but just wanted people to see the range we have so far, how boringly standard it is for a wedding, and any missing suggestions! The songs are split into 3, i guess- 1) the bog standard achingly saddo tracks that people "want" to hear (inc. dancefloor fillers) 2) the quieter, end of evening, aww innit cute tracks 3) the cool ones I want people to hear, but still have to be listenable/dancable to. So here tis: ![]() EDIT: oh, the shame, no Clearlake on there yet. Offer me a wedding-approved one! |

OOh.. i could be evil here, but i'll resist the temptation
I suggest "Something to Look Forward Too" or "I Want to Live in a Dream" would sit well in that list, especially if you could manage to lose the Boston track! Although future harmony may assured by "I Hang on Every Word You Say" Whatever, congrats and all the best, sir. |

the boston track is a nod to my little brother who has achieved 100% on expert in Guitar Hero:
![]() And i can't help but feel that Something To Look Forward To and I Want To Live In A Dream don't have dance-filler quality to them - I may add one for the pre-karaoke bit. My favourite track back in the late 99/2000 was "I Hang..." so I may pop for that. Any other non-Lake tracks you think could wend their way in? |

We have each other's numbers. Manage a meet-up and there's a congratulation drink with your name on it! |
