Would mother nature work itself out? What level of preparation is necessary? Couldnt we just wait and hope that finding the solution to the "problem" will be the job of the next generation? If you will.... for the childern cause they are our future and the ones who would fix our problems.

Why wait for the next generation? The solution needs to be found. And the sooner the better.

if we leave it for the next generation its kinda like us saying this generation does not care. I know we can solve it all and some of it will be left for the next. However we need to do as much as we can right?

if you cut yourself you grab a bandaid, if you are sick you see a doctor. saying why don't we just wait and see or it's too hard, lets leave it for someone else to worry about goes against what we all do every day. we may not be able to fend off any drastic climate change by research and preparation, but what we learn will better enable us and those who follow us to understand our planet. Not only in how all the variables of land, sea, air and space combine with each other to form our climate but also how to predict or time change and judge what adaptions are needed for us to survive them.

the evidence of previous calamities are there in the geological, fossil and historical records. swift changes that took a huge toll on enviroments all over the planet. have a close look at the varying areas that are believed to be severely affected by any future event. look at government centres, areas of agriculture, supply/trade routes.

the effects on the population from a loss or reduction of basic food items alone, not forgetting the predicted physical hardships will cause chaos.

learn what ever you can, be multiskilled, listen to warnings. it may not happen within my life time.......but it might.
