We changed axle bearings tonight for 1st time. Even though kart rolled good . They were starting to roll rough. Should have been a winter job. They came off went on fairly easy. Remember the kart is not just motor but a package combination thing. Keep them free rolling . Uses less HP and helps handling. Dennis

Dennis,
We have a special oil for the bearings to keep them free. Call if you need some.
Thanks
Lewis

We have removable rear bearing shields just clean with brake cleaner and reoil each week .On the front spindles I remove the inner bearing shields and pack lightly with slick 50 grease. I also use Slick 50 Lube 1 spray lube for all tie rods and as chain lube . That is what I use in the rear bearings . The Lube 1 is cheaper then all the other Teflon lubs .I use to get it at Auto Zone but now I have to order it.
