The Point Between Heaven and Earth
A secret place, known to many, but approachable by few. The spot is represented by a large carved stone circle, nearly a half-mile in diameter. The plate itself is etched with fine runic figures and ancient writings, and is often considered a holy place for alchemists. It is said that the desert winds never blow the sands to hide the circle, and at night the stars align just so, making the circle glow in specific points in the light of that and the moon. The treck to the circle can only be made by those who understand the true flow of the world, lest they be lost in the endless expanses of the Skyworm Desert.

Black Hills
The northernmost portion of a mountain range that runs all the way across the rim of the continent. Black crags and spines shoot up from the relatively calm sandy earth. Spires that reach nearly sixty feet cast shadows over lesser hills and peaks. How the terrain was formed is unknown, but the land is extremely inhospitable, the temperatures reaching 160 F at mid-day.
