Before I type the rules, I would like all of you to note that because this is an incredibly small community, there won't be many of them, and the consequences will be virtually nonexistant. As the community grows, however, and if/when we receive more users, the rules will expand and the administrators will become much more strict with them. So, just keep that in mind when inviting friends, okay?

Now, on to the rules:

• Registered Users Must POST
  It might seem a little extreme, but if you're going to be a member of the forums, posting is your number priority. We don't care how often you do it, so long as you DO it. This is probably the rule that we're forced to enforce all the time- seeing as how people join but don't post like they're supposed to. Really, people, where's the sense in joining a forum if you don't post and interact with other users? Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose?
• No SWEARING or SEXUALLY EXPLICIT material
  The only exception for swearing will be when it's in an excerpt of some sort, say from a story, but even so, we expect you to put a tag of some sort either on your post or in your topic title or description that warns others of offending material or language. If it's sexual, don't post it. Don't even ask to post it. Got it? :D
• RESPECT the other members
  It can't be stressed enough how important it is to respect each other. The forum is meant for self-expression through writing and making new friends. It's not meant to win an argument over whose right or wrong. If you don't like someone, tough. Get used to them being around or hit the road.
• Posting IMAGES
  -To keep everyone happy, we advise you to keep your sigs at a low. If you're putting up an image, go ahead and makre sure of the following:
  1.) It's yours
  2.) You don't hotlink, and
  3.) It does not exceed the limit of 400x200 pixels.
  Of course, we can't really do much about the first two, but if we have to scroll to see the entirety of your sig, we'll make it so that you don't get to post images in your sigs anymore. Really, people, it's a signature, not a picture.
  -Avatars are at a maximum size of 100x100. Make sure that you use an image hosting site, such as photobucket or imageshack, or the gallery of avatars offered to you by invisionfree (IF). Otherwise, you won't have one.
  -Also, if posting an image in a thread, we recommend using an image hosting site to do so.
• MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS
  To make it easier on the admins and mods, we do NOT want you to create more than one account. If you have the sudden urge to want to change your name, inform an administrator (such as DomoLurv and myself), and we'll change it to what you want. If you're caught creating another account, it doesn't matter for what reason, your IP address will be banned.
• Use ENGLISH
  To make it easier on everybody on this forum, we ask that unless you know English very well, don't bother registering as a member. It sounds harsh, yes, but this is a forum created by English-speakers, and the majority of the users on the forums will all be speaking English because they are from an English speaking country. It makes it easier on all of us.
  What makes things even more easier if you use proper english and don't type in "1337" or "lIeK dIs". This is a forum for WRITERS, so, please, make it easy for everyone to read, or else you don't belong here.
  Also, please, I know how popular Japanese culture and language or any other country's culture and language is to other people, but please don't use random and/or unecessary words in another langauge (i.e: "Arigatou", "baka", "onee-chan", etc.). Not everyone understands those small phrases. If you really want to use them, put them in your sig, or something.
