*ish nervous because it's the first nomination in history*
I nominate Phoenixdown7! You can find here on ff.net at: http://www.fanfiction.net/u/248274/ Most of her stories, however, are very adult. Not to mention Yaoi. if you want to read her stories uncensored, you'll have to visit the livejournal link on her ff.net profile page. I nominated her 'cause she's an awesome writer. After reading her story ThreeAlls, (which changed my life, by the way) I was inspired to check out some of her other works and I must say, they're excellent! She deserves more recognition than she gets, that's for sure. Her being a college student, I'm impressed by the amount of effort she must put into her stories to get them in so quickly, while balancing that with school. I mean, when I think about the amount of free time me, the high school student has, it's amazing. She must be really smart or something. XD There we go, my first nomination ever. Anything I forgot? P.S. Just one question... are we allowed to nominate authors? Like, published authors? Or is this reserved for unpublished writers like us? |

Eh, still trying to pick the first Writer of the week. |

Eh, all the different categories might make too much work for you guys. That would be bad... we'd better keep it simple to start off with.
Thanks for answering my question. =D I'm glad it's reserved for unpublished writers. That makes it so much more awesome. |

Ok so, I have a nomination for author of the week (though I'd probably call her author of forever)
*InsaneLoneliness *on FoSF here. *Because her stories aren't only well written to keep you hooked to the very end, but also she's Brazillian and to write in a foreign language like she does is an achievement only few get to rejoice. *Warnings? Hmmm... well most of Insane-sama's stories are rated R or sometimes NC-17, because they follow a romantic thread and she often slips in a very juicy lemon. |

Alrighty!
This makes me happy to see, just so you know. XD Anyway, I would like to nominate SilverShine of Fanfiction.net. Warnings include: Adult content and language, and juicy lemons. Oh, and "taboo" relationships (KakaSaku, mainly; fourteen years age difference and/or student-pupil). Why? Because she's such a beautifully inventive writer who is able to bring to life characters that's she's used various times in so many different ways. Her writing style is unique, one that has possibly influenced my own, and is so syntactically (is that a word?) beautiful and descriptive in so many ways. She's able to add humor when it's needed, and can easily create a feeling of despair with just a few simple words. I love this girl's work, seriously. She's just... brilliant. In every single way a writer could be. P.S: I've read a few of InsaneLonliness' stuff before. :) Pretty good. |

I'd like to nominate Mikanis on ff.net
Link to Mikanis's account on ff.net: Mikanis Well, I want to nominate Mikanis first and foremost for one story (although I like all of them). That would be Concerto in D Minor which had me checking for a new chapter every single day. (And has now been completed.) She writes Death Note stories, mainly L x Light (has a Mello one out too that I've not been able to look at yet), so this, as you've most likely realized, is yaoi. Also, there are things like torture and blood. Very, very dark. And so well written that I believe that I have stumbled acroos one of the best torture-writers on ff.net. :3 Mikanis is also very, very quick updating and that is something that you rarely see when you stumble across a very good writer in your favourite fandom. :) But just if you don't have time to read the whole thing then here's the nomination in a nutschell: Warning: - Stories include yaoi, torture, blood, mind-games, adult content and language. Why: -Very quick updates and such a quality that I can not believe my luck in finding this writer. One of the best and most real fanfiction writers I've read to date. I could almost believe that her story (that is Concerto and Violins) would be in the real Death Note story. I think that it would have spiced things in Death Note up considerably too if it had been. ;D |
