In order to keep this site running smoothly and keeping it clean, here are a few role-playing rules to keep it going as such.
  • Make sure you act your age. CROWDED CORRIDORS is a remake of Hogwarts. Therefore, you are starting off at 11. The whole point of becoming a student and role-playing is to let your character grow. Power tripping (thinking you're invincible and knowing every spell) is not allowed. For a list of spells you are allowed to use, visit this thread: FLOO NETWORK
  • Do not control other characters. This means that you cannot post in your post what the other person does.
QUOTE
For example:

Jane walked over to John and punched them.  His nose started to bleed horrifically and, smug, Jane walked away.

Besides the fact that there is violence in this scene, there is something else wrong with it. Jane is controlling John. You need to give your fellow students/members the chance to react to you and your actions.
  • When you're roleplaying, try to keep your posts as detailed as possible. Make sure that your posts are at least a good sized paragraph (at least three sentences or more). Do not do short, hit-and-run posts like, "Totally," or "Okay, see you later." Post some action and thought details around it. This keeps the site clean.

See? Short and sweet and to the point. Please ensure that you will therefore follow these rules. As an admin and the Headmistress I do have the power to delete your posts, edit them if I wish, or suspend your account for whatever reason I choose. I am not going to expell you for bad role-playing of course, but this is just a reminder.
