Okay, the pen tool is fairly easy to use, and I took screen caps. If you have any questions, just post them here.
NOTE: I'm not sure if this will make a difference, but the version of Photoshop I have is 7.0.1 --- When you see brackets after a step that have a link in them saying "click", that means that I have created a screen cap of the step for you to look at. Pen-Tool Digital Inking in Photoshop 1] Open the document you want to ink. In my case, it's a picture of Aruhito, who is a character in my web comic that has not been introduced yet. [click] 2] Press SHIFT+CTRL+N to create a new layer. Fill it with white. Make this layer invisible. 3] Press SHIFT+CTRL+N to create another new layer. Go to your paintbrush tool and select the 2px square with a foreground color of black. [click] 4] Go to your control panel and select the pen tool [click] with the following settings: [click] 5] Go to your image and select a line you want to ink. Using the pen-tool, which we previously selected, click down that line [it should make squares to show your path]. NOTE: You should make your squares closer together than mine so your line is smooth. I was just demonstrating for the tutorial. [click] 6] Go to the box where your layers are and click on the tab that says "Paths". [Mine got separated from the "Layers" and "Channels" box somehow and I can't get it to go back, but that is unimportant. >>;;] Click on the little arrow next to it for your path options, and go down to "Stroke Path". NOTE: Make sure your brush is still a black 2px square!! When it pops up to ask what you want to ink with, select brush. Simulating pressure is optional. Click OK. [click] 7] Your path should now be stroked with 2px black. Now go back to the little arrow in your Stroke options, and click "Delete Path". 8] You should now have one inked line! [click] Continue with this until all your lines are inked. The layer that you filled with white and turned invisible is handy for when you want to see how your inking looks when the sketch is gone. Whenever you want a sneak peek of your inking, just make it visable. ^^ -------------------- |

sweet tut. I just rarely use the pen in photoshop, only in illustrator, and then import in. Thanks for sharing, Ara~! *glomp*
