FlameMasterDragon

Name: Micheal
Age: 26
Left Eye: Blue Iris.
Right Eye: Green Iris

He is 6 foot 3 and weighs 12 stone. Of muscular build and innovative mind, he has a sound mind and is fitter than most. He speaks with the all the politeness of humble servant to his master, yet he likes a laugh and often tells good jokes. He is honest and easily likable.

He spent the best part of his history with his father in the capital city where he courted his future wife, Ka Wolf. After reaching 17 he was sent to a nice quiet out of the way town as Mayor. Ka went with him. Soon after they had a baby and he was disowned.

The Town took pity on him and he got married to Ka Wolf. When they had trouble with raiders which he successfully managed to defeat with him leading the local militia. Because of this and his efficient service he was kept as mayor. He was happy to continue being of service to the town and kept the town running as smooth as possible.

At 26 a PDF regiment came and torched the city while raping his wife in front of his eyes who was again pregnant and then nearly kicked him to death.
Soon afterwards a Tau Cadre came and cleansed the town while taking Micheal back to their town; he quickly fell in love with the Tau’Va and swore fealty to it and the Tau way.
Because he vowed to fight back against the destruction of the town and massacre of the populace he joined the Gue’vessa where his military and tactical abilities were quickly seen and praised.

He is still in mourning for the town but is happy that his Wife and kids are still alive and are being brought up the Tau way. He is happy that he chose to serve in the Gue'Vessa and his appointment as Gue'Vessa’Ui is of great surprise and he is honoured to have been chosen.

my_name_is_tudor

Name: Doug Shunfelt
Age: 42
Height: 1.84m
Weight: 92kg
Hair: Close shaven, geryish brown, starting to go bald
Appearance: Doug is a stocky, heavily built man. His arms and chest are quite hairy, and he has a stubbly beard and moustache. He wears a dirty white vest, under a ragged short sleeved shirt/jacket, which does little to hide his slight beer gut.

Bio: Doug is a boisterous man, loud and cheerful. He spent a long time as an amateur boxer before the Tau invasion, and as such is well built and strong. It is easy to mistake his bulk for fat, but aside from a slight beer gut, the majority of his size is down to muscle.

Doug is from quite a poor family, used to never having much to his name, but always seeming happy all the same. His wife Haela died years before the Tau invaded, and he quickly grew used to cooking and housekeeping or himself, as well as earning.

When the Tau invaded, he kept to himself for the most part. The aliens seemed more human than any of the Imperial propoganda made out, and they largely respected the populace, but when the threat of Tyranid invasion loomed, Doug was quick to try to form some sort of haphazard resistance, ready to face this much more devastating threat head on. He was dissappointed to be evacuated, but realised that there was never a lot he and his few friends could have done.

Although Doug doesn't seem a likely candidate on the face of things, he proved himself during fire caste trials. He is durable, strong, and willing to follow orders. He is practical, humble, and gets on well with others, possesed as he is of a very round and friendly sense of humour. He enjoys a drink, preferably some form of ale, but generally whatever form of alcohol he can get his hands on - though he is far from an alcoholic. He occasionally enjoys a smoke stick or cigar.

Doug thought that he would be well suited amongst the practically-minded fire caste, a strong, tough, dependable unit, the sorts of traits he aspires to. He is reliable, confident, and good in a crisis.

Equipment: Lasgun, pack of smokes.

Brother-Librarian Swintha

Name: Patrick Lain
Age: 22
Description:

Pat stands at 5 foot 9 inches, weighing in at 198 pounds. The tan skin and light brown hair show that Pat has worked outside in the sun. This also explains his muscular build. Pat’s eyes are his most noticeable trait. They are a bright light blue. He has medium length hair that doesn’t go any further past his eyebrow line. It is mostly unkempt as is his beard which is only stubbles; Pat will wait until the last moment to shave them off.

Personality:

Pat enjoys a good joke every once and a while. He never really had a chance to get a wife or have a long term relationship with a girl. Pat was thrown into manual labor when he was only 16. Working with his Dad and Uncle day and night. He got a decent pay wage each month.

Pat was content with his life, until the Tau came when he was 22; they had killed both his Uncle and Dad when they resisted the change for the Greater Good. His Uncle and Father were part of the rebellion against the Tau.

Pat didn’t have any other family, so he had joined the Tau for survival issues. Either he joined or they killed him. He knew what they did to his uncle and father, and decided to join up. Pat took a liking to the Pulse technology, and grew to adore their carbine.

Pat thought of what his Uncle and Father would say if they knew he was using the Tau’s technology. It wasn’t good, but he likes to think they would understand his position. To keep their memory alive, Pat wrote “Robert” and “Tom” on his helmet; the names of his Father and Uncle.

Kolli-Ironbear

Name: Demitri Caliendo
Age: 26
Height: 6'4
Weight: 100kgs
Eyes: Hazel
Hair: Straight, Jet-Black hair about 4 inches long.

Bio:
A human inhabitant of the world recently devoured by the tyranid invasion, Demitri is truly homeless.

Born and raised on D'reg Caliendo lead a rather sheltered life. His father, a baker, was well liked amid the town, and soon Demitri began to learn the craft. Before long, he too had become known as a talented baker.

When tau forces made contact with his township, they seemed focused in their strike, they never missed with shots, and Demitri's parents were among the casualties.

Unknown to Demitri, the township had previously launched assaults on the tau emissaries, killing every single party in massicres without equal. Demitri's parents were present on these raids, having both served in PDF forces in their youth. Through a surgical strike, those humans who launched the raids were given the chance to bow to the Tau will, or be a victim of the greater good - Demitri was orphaned.

Although initially steadfastly opposed to the xeno's threat, he slowly learned of their philosophy and found himself strangely intregued. During the takeover of his township, the tau placed the town under marshal law and began to teach the human community about the greater good. Surprisingly, the xenos didn't treat the humans badly, and gradually, the ways of the greater good became ingrained within him. Now he's a member of the tau's human militia.

After the carnage the tyranids caused, Demitri solidified himself in the Tau cause. He saw how they were willing to sacrifice themselves for the everyday person, even those who were not of tau blood.

Personality:
An idealist, Caliendo has become completely smitten with the greater good. This adoration for the tau philosophy runs so deep that he would willingly throw his life away to save even the lowliest of Tau. This recent change of heart has led Caliendo into a very serine life. He loves helping people and is almost always wearing a smile. As far as he is concerned, this is merely the next step in the evolution of the human race, and that the tau are messangers of the emperor. They will deliver true salvation.

Appearance:
Caliendo is a tall dark haired man with very fair skin. Apart from two scars, and a tau tattoo, his skin is prestine. Peering out from thick dagger-straight black hair are hazel eyes. Although more muscular in his past, Caliendo now has more of a heavy set figure looking more akin to a teddy bear than a warrior. His muscles are not well defined, but powerful. Often, he is seen wearing khaki drab pants and a somewhat baggy black shirt, though the shirt is often covered with a loose fitting flak jacket left to him by his father.

Drakkar Windrider
Name: Elvira Sadhin
Age: 29
Height: 1'73m (5'7 feet)
Weight: 67kg (148 pounds)
Eyes: Bright blue eyes.
Hair: Dark brown, long, reaches down to just over her lower back.
General Appearance: In good shape, Elvira has an air of agility owed to her years of experience as a nurse. However, she is also tough, owed to her congenital complexion. However, she has a very serious, sad air about her.

Background: Elvira was born in one of the towns in D'reg, the Imperial planet taken by the Tau, and raised by her father, a zealous PDF soldier. Before the hostilities began, Elvira became the nurse of the only doctor in many kilometers around, so she received a good payment, when not in money then in goods (he has had nearly eleven years of experience in the medical field). Eventually, she fell in love with a teacher from a neighboring school, and they married.

When the time came, Elvira gave birth to a healthy boy. She couldn't have been happier, until the Tau came. There was quite a stiff resistance by the PDF, but once these were defeated, most towns joined the Tau'Va willingly, and even came to appreciate the peaceful ideals of the xenos. However, even then, some of the inhabitants raised as rebels against the Tau occupation troops, and attacked the Tau Fire Warriors. Her father was among the rebels, and when he was killed in an attack, he was recognised. By this time, though, the population of D'reg had to be evacuated because of the unstoppable Tyranid attack.

Needless to say, Elvira's neighbours did not take kindly to the news. She and her family were shunned and despised, seen as the black sheep of the community, some even fearing the Tau would make the whole town pay for her father's actions. Elvira lost her job as nurse, and her husband lost his as teacher. They still limped on, though...

... until her son, now 5 years old, received a beating. The school would have nothing to see with it. The neighbours would not do anything. Things could net get much worse than this. Because of her father's actions, not only her and her husband had to pay, but also her child. Elvira sank into a deep despair, as she saw no end to the hell their life had become. Until...

The Tau started a programme of recruitment for Gue'Vessa volunteers. Of course, Elvira didn't see much future in her current situation, and... maybe... just maybe, she could earn her family a respite from the constant bullying. She entered the programme, and achieved a position as medic thanks to her past experience, hoping to change the community's view on her family.

Because of this, she is not as much disliked as before, since she will be sent to do battle for the Greater Good. With the training almost finished, she only wants to speak once again to her family, who she terribly misses, and see how they have fared in her absence...

Silver_Jaden2

Name: Jason Alistair
Age: 23
Height: 1.79m
Weight: 60kg
Hair: Unkempt short brown hair
Appearance: Jason is not thoroughly well fed causing his eyes to be deeper in his skull than normal. Uneasy at best, Jason isn’t a man of great courage. His clothes are dirty from wearing too long. It was the only set he could take with him and includes a leather jacket, baggy jeans, and a white sweater. Along with his clothing, he was barely able to bring along his photo camera, almost getting killed in the process.

Background:

Since his birth, Jason has always been alone. As a young boy, he witnessed how his parents died in a horrible accident. He was sent to an orphanage where he lived for almost 18 years. He was a quiet boy, never much interacting socially with the other orphans. The young boy grew up as a helping and caring lad, but never gave a lot for friendship.

Often he would climb up on the roof, or watch the night sky from his window. It relaxed him and calmed his mind. On his 21st birthday he received a gift from an unknown saint. It brought a smile on his face, for the first time in nearly 10 years. The young lad now had something to express his feelings. A camera.

Two months before his 23rd birthday his live went downwards again. Was it not for the enigmatic creatures that arrived from the skies, he would have killed himself. After the Imperial forces on his home planet of D’Reg had been defeated, and rebels had taken over his town, Jason found himself alone and afraid again.

Days after the last of the rebels had been defeated, Jason applied for a job as wartime photographer. It was not a job he could hold for very long. Terrible alien invaders mass attacked against the enigmatic Tau. His home town wasn’t defended at all, giving the Tyranids, as the locals called them, free reign. The beasts of mass destruction attack the orphanage, destroying the building with relative ease.

In the last minutes that the building still stood, Jason rushed inside to his old room. He had to take his camera, without it he wouldn’t want to live. Just before he reached his bed room door, the building collapsed. Buried under the rubble, Jason met face to face with several of the bio-creatures. They passed over him, thinking he was dead, no need to spend any attention to what wasn’t alive. Their claws scratched over the stones, their saliva dripped into the cracks and half on his face. Their eyes stared at him, every single time they passed over.

He would have killed himself if the Tau didn’t rescue him. The enigmatic creatures, fighting for the Greater Good in their powerful armour. It was enough for Jason to enlist in their army, to get away from the aliens. But it was already too late as Jason couldn’t sleep without waking every night with the same horrible nightmare. The only thing he had to relax him in any way was his passion for taking pictures. His camera was his life, without it he doesn’t want to live. Not with the knowledge of Tyranids crawling over his body.

Tau medics have analyzed him for psychological problems. They only found one: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. There was not much they could do for him. Jason would always have nightmares, sleeping disturbances, and many other symptoms.

Nalen Fredriko
Age: 30
Height: 6'2
Weight: 180
Appearance: Nalen stands ramrod straight, unlike most tall people,
which lends an added feeling of height to his demeanor.
He Has pale blue eyes and sandy blonde hair, which goes well with his fair skin.
He is no pushover though, as his slender frame is pure gristle.
His skin is unblemished, with no scar or tattoo covering it, as he sees it as a sign of physical corruption.
History: Nalen was a member of the working factory class. He never got along with his parents, who were stout religious fanatics. He for whatever reason never came to share their beliefs. He saw a purpose in war, but thought that if peace was not the result then there was no point to it. He was on his own and had not spoken to his parents for years when the Tau came. He being of no great Imperial loyalty, gave in quickly, and even found in their creed a purpose he had so desired. The Greater Good was something he could fight for and know that peace was the end result. He served under his new masters until the Tyranids came, and eagerly evacuated in the face of the menace,
which he found especially terrifying. When the chance came to join the Tau in a military sense, he reluctantly volunteered. He has a substantial fear of death,
but he also sees this as the best way to further the Tau'Va.
He is a carefree and kind individual, not yet accustomed to war and its hardships.
He will also take the nonviolent approach if necesary.

Equipment: 2 photon and 2 emp grenade. a lasgun with bayonet knife.
also carries a dose of 'slaught that a fellow soldier slipped him during training on joining the Tau, the man thought his lack of aggression was funny.
The man told him simply to take it when he needed an extra boost in a tight situation.
