Someone has been poaching from Song of Ice and Fire.... :D

And looking at the map, I'm not sure much needs explaining. It might just be better to field questions from the players if they are unsure about something?

hmm i have no rivers in my area, not that that makes a difference in gameplay, i dont think. i dont have a fort either!...i dont think?

Spartacus: No you don't have a river in your territory yet (and it can make a gameplay difference) or a fort for that matter. There is plenty other stuff near and in your territory!

Anyhow, here's some things I thought I'd go ahead and say:
  • Yes Lith, I've been poaching again. But does that really even surprise you anymore?
  • A big town will be symbolized by a black square with white middle (Stonehelm is a big town, not a fort)
  • Those little gold circles are mines.
  • If I put it on the map, it's important.
  • You've probably already guessed what those black lines are dividing the map. But in case you haven't, those are for marking the territory boundaries.

One thing that occurs to me, Nine, is that Asmar is only bordering two hostile boundaries. They have nothing to fear from immediate barbarian invasion.

..unless, that is, there are a shiteload of them to the south or Asmar has a particularly vicious local banditry. Perhaps moving switching Pomposia and Asmar would be the easy solution?

The nation placement wasn't random. Everything on the map was placed with the story arc taken into consideration, and therefore with a reason for its location.

In other words, nothing is moving.

lotr fan ak?

so im without a large town or fort, bordering barbarian lands, and have large amounts of swampland with no water source? now you can never complain when i stomp the nations into the dust! *is content* *likes story over gameplay anyway*

"someday laddy, this will all be yours..."

Pssst, it's Asmar, not Ansmar... :P

Anyways nice map, and I'm not complaining about the lack of Barbarians... though this Dread Fort scares me a bit, since it's dreaded am I to assume someone evil is in it? Or... do I just like naming my forts with sinister names?

You didn't name it...nor do you have anybody occupying it yet. But more on that later.
