How many know the difference between a Laptop and a Notebook?

Good God, man... This is serious...

To the best of my knowledge, notebooks are smaller and used mainly for work whereas laptops are the larger of the genus and used for just about everything you can do with a regular desktop.

EP's right.....notebooks are more for basic, work or school related needs. From what I understand most don't even have a CD drive - just basic USB hookups. If you're looking for something for more in-depth tasks (gaming, computer art design, ect...) I'd go for the bigger laptop.

*sighs* actually... your both wrong im afraid....
you see the term 'Laptop' is nothing but a comon misconception. People refere to any and all portable computers as a laptop when this is in fact a slang term. Te notebook is a make/model of portable computer, similar to a macbook or toughbook.

Ok...so I have to ask.....

If you knew the answer already, why did you ask??

Lord Jacobus - January 4, 2010 02:41 PM (GMT)
clarification of a worrying problem.
