Question 1 A
You have recently been given command of a small Imperial Guard training facility, the Ransen Military Base (RMB) near the township of Atbakta on Wavre. Units from this training college have already gone onto further training and are have recently been deployed in the Abraxis sector. It is your responsibility to see that the basic training is of a suitable standard. As such specify and justify two foci of your training regime.
primary focus is weapons training. this is basicly teaching troops how to maintain and properly use weapons, how to use multiple weapon combinations in units and use of personal weapons in combat.
secondary focus is drilling units in combat techniques. this will include how to better use surounding cover, night fighting and day fighting techniques and city fighting techniques
Question 1 B
A recruit is brought to your office for assignment of punishment after physically attacking a roommate who insulted his family. Understanding that discipline must be enforced but that the Guard is short of men at present, what punishment do you assign? Why? What effect will this have on the morale of his fellow recruits?
publicly flogg him. this shows that i am willing to dish out punishment when needed
Question 1 C
The only full company of recruits presently at the RMB have just finished a final field exercise, the final requirement to finish training. They have been living in the field for 3 days 15km from the main base. You go out to visit and inspect the men that afternoon in a pelting thunderstorm. As evening falls and you prepare to leave you attempt to contact HQ to update them but after a yell and loud bang radio contact is lost and cannot be re-established. How do you react and what are your actions and/or orders?
in groups of five men will:
1. Check for, and repair damage done to camp
2. Repair main radio
the rest of the men are to secure the perimiter of the camp. I will tell them to consider this as their last training exercise
Could you please specify which radio you wish to repair and where you want the troops to move in their groups of three?
