13th Tetra Novan Black Talons (Reconaissance)
! Quality/Average Morale
500 Special Forces Troopers
75 Logistics Troopers
125 Salamanders

The 13th has a bad reputation because of a former commander who let his officers and men get away with more than he should have. Still they are skilled at what they do. They are trained specifically for mountain and arctic warfare.

Notes regarding 26th Army Units
Tyrmina Infantry and Armored Regiments
As Tyrmina lies close to the Cardinal World of Dorotan the religious piety of the Great Ecclessiarchy’s can be found in every aspect of Tyrminan life. This is the same in the fine Guard regiments the world fields. Tyrminan regiments have a reputation for a quiet solemnity in the face of things spiritual as well as a fierce discipline.
Tyrmina’s most recent tithe to the Imperium has been directly transferred into Harbinger Crusade. The troops have let to leave their homeworld, but already operates under the auspices of an Imperial Guard Army. For the past five years the planteray government, in cooperation with sector authorities, has been outfitting and arming nearly forty regiments for deployement. These consist of infantry and armored units.
A standard Tyrmina infantry regiment consists of three thousand medium infantry, four hundred combat engineers, eight hundred support personnel, three hundred forty Chimera armored personnel carriers, one hundred Earthshaker heavy artillery guns, and two hundred trucks. As such a Tyrminan unit is expected to prove effective in the face of battle. Commissariat reports on training and discipline have noted high marks in most categories. There is great hope for these units. Of the regiments being raised for the Crusade there are thirty such infantry regiments.
The standard Tyrmina armored regiment consists of two thousand medium infantry, six hundred combat engineers, eight hundred support personnel, one hundred eighty Leman Russ main battle tanks, three hundred sixty Chimera armored personnel carriers, ninety Basilisk self-propelled guns, and two hundred trucks. There are eight armored regiments that have been detailed for duty in the Harbinger Crusade.
The final two regiments that will make up the Tyrmina contribution to the Crusade deserve special attention. Technically speaking they are simple armored regiments, but the wondrous gifts of the Mechanicus with which they are equipped cannot be underestimated. In all ways except one the 20th and 30th Tyrmina Armor Regiments are exactly like their sister regiments. The exception is that instead of Leman Russ MBTs the 20th and the 30th are equipped with Pattern I-IX Destroyer Tank Hunters. These magnificent vehicles are equipped with the fearsome Laser Destroyer as its primary weapon. This brutal piece of machinery can slice through the toughest tank armor at range. The Tyrmina Destroyer Tank Hunters are even more exceptional in that they were forged on Mars nearly ten thousand years ago during the Great Crusade. For countless centuries the Tyrmina PDF has maintained these wonderful relics against all odds. Originally Tyrmina boasted one hundred DTH regiments, but the ravages of war and time have reduced this number to only eight. Two of these exemplary units will take part in the largest war to touch the Abraxis Sector since ancient times.
---------------------------------
Jaelin V Artillery Battalions
The world of Jaelin V has long had economic and political ties with the Adeptus Mechanicus of the Federax System. As such the PDF regiments of Jaelin V have a reputation for being equipped with above-standard technology. This is no more apparent than in the artillery battalions.
The government of Jaelin V has, so far, contributed some number of artillery battalions to the Harbinger Crusade. These formations are extremely effective in destroying enemy aircraft since they use state-of-the-art detection equipment and long-range Manticore missiles. Alternatively the AA battalions can mount high explosive warheads to destroy enemy armored fighting vehicles. While the Manticore are not as effective against infantry as a howitzer they can still do great damage when equipped with oxy-phospor incendiary warheads. The battalions are, unfortunately, incapable of rapid movement since they mount their missiles on platforms instead of an armored chassis. The platforms, however, are very low to the ground and easier to hide and protect. As such they make ideal defensive weapons.
A typical Jaelin V Artillery Battalion is equipped with thirty Manticore missile platforms, supported by one hundred twenty logistics troopers, and requires forty five trucks. The missiles have a range of more than eight kilometers against air targets and when fired indirectly. They also have an effective range of three thousand meters against ground targets using direct line-of-sight.
Jaelin V Pioneer Brigade
Engineering is a much lauded field on Jaelin V. With that being common knowledge it is no surprise that the Jaelin V PDF produces some exemplary engineering troops. These valiant men and women are known as Pioneers. The Jaelin V government has been good enough to dispatch four such brigades to the Harbinger Crusade.
The brigades thus dispatched are numbered as the 9th, 10th, 12th, and 14th. Each brigade maintains twelve hundred combat engineers, two hundred logistics soldiers, one hundred twenty Chimeras, and fifty trucks. The brigades are not designed for independent action and work best when operating close to other regiments. This is specifically needed since the engineers lack long-range anti-tank weapons and organic artillery support.

Vittorian Support Regiments
While Vittoria does not have a reputation for producing splendid warriors they are adept bureaucrats. As such the Vittorian Support Regiments are quite valued. They, somewhat, efficiently combine medical and logistical efforts into one singular operation. Supplies go out and the wounded come in. Thus far the system has worked remarkably well.
62nd Corps
8th Tetra Novan South Plains Cadre Battalion (Reconaissance)
Average Quality/Average Morale
850 Soldiers
125 Logistics Troopers
10 Chimerae
30 Salamanders
30 Half-tracks
30 Light Artillery Pieces
35 Trucks
The 8th comes from the plains in the eastern part of the southern military district. Like most Southern units they are lightly equipped and work best as skirmishers and scouts. Because they need to keep up with the rest of 19th Corps, they are equipped with a number of light scout vehicles and transports including some Salamander and Chimera armored vehicles.
55th Tetra Novan Northern Guard Regiment (Motorized)
AverageQuality/Average Morale
4500 Soldiers
740 Logistics Troopers
230 Scorpions
60 Leman Russ
150 Medium Artillery Pieces
160 Trucks
The Northern military district is believed to produce the best regiments to come from Tetra Nova. The 55th lives up to this reputation but fails to really stand out. They are still reliable medium infantry. They are out-fitted with transports making them motorized infantry as well.
72nd Tetra Novan "Grand River Militia" (Medium Infantry)
Average Quality/Above Average Morale
4500 Soldiers
405 Logistics Troopers
150 medium artillery pieces
160 trucks
The 72nd hails from one of the central districts. Unfortunately they come from the district with possibly the worst reputation when it comes to the quality of its units. The 72nd work hard to correct this misconception and they make fairly reliable medium infantry.
104th Tetra Novan Northern Guard Regiment (Mechanized)
Average Quality/Average Morale
4500 Soldiers
740 Logistics Troopers
230 Half-Tracks
60 Leman Russ
150 Medium Artillery Pieces
160 Trucks
The 104th is a new unit formed to replace the dishonored 56th which was disbanded when it lost it’s colors roughly 20 years ago. The 104th has enough armor to be considered mechanized infantry.

Poor Quality/Poor Morale
4500 Soldiers
405 Logistics Troopers
150 Medium Artillery Pieces
160 Trucks
Whatever the 72nd does to better the reputation of Grand River units, the 73rd seems to counter with some idiocy of their own. They are a poor unit and have faced being disbanded on more than one occasion. Only circumstances in the past have kept their colors from being stricken.
61st Tetra Novan "East Islands Militia" Regiment (Marines)
Good Quality/Good Morale
4500 Soldiers
690 Logistics Troopers
450 Chimerae
150 Medium Artillery Pieces

Hailing from the eastern military district which consists entirely of isolated islands, the 61st trains in amphibious operations. They are one of the more elite units Tetra Nova has sent to Abraxis having a long and distinguished record. They are equipped as medium infantry.
14th Jaelin Pioneer Brigade (Combat Engineers)
Good Quality/Good Morale
1200 Combat Engineers

Good Quality/Above Average Morale
850 Soldiers
75 Logistics Troopers
30 Light Artillery Pieces
35 Trucks
The 15th Cadre is recruited from the western parts of the southern district from the tough hunter and trappers who scrape out their existence from the dense forests there. They are excellent light infantry and are skilled scouts and ambushers.
