OK, now locate all your units. Ones currently placed may move up to two boxes in any direction if desired -- if you're looking to concentrate certain units together. Personally, I think it would be good to have each player and division responsible for a certain area.

Ok, guys, here's a proposal;
Jen's suggestion of making divisions responsible for certain areas is good. Unfortunately, the way we are now Henchman has no concentration and will have a difficult time getting the 72nd together with his other two regiments. Since you're is already positioned on the edges, Henchman (except the 5th), I suggest you take flank duty. My units are all in a fairly small space in the center of the map. I hope to drive them into the Vogen Law Courts and form the center of the line, maybe with the SoB? Siggy then would form a mobile reserve and fill gaps in the line with his airborne and mechanized. Sound good? -------------------- "Yes, makin' mock o' uniforms that guard you while you sleep

Note: You don't have to place the airborne unit until you drop it, assume it's at an airbase off the map. The other two units do have to be placed somewhere on the map, even if in reserve. The sisters start where they are -- you can give general requests, but have no direct control.

Where shall the Mondasians deploy? North or South or center? I'm guessing center.

We can’t afford to have confusion and three different understandings of how we’re going to go about the next phase. It would probably be prudent to figure out what we want to do as a whole.
This is what I was planning to do with my division in our little lull. Commendations and medals will be doled out as appropriate for actions of 2nd Division units/individuals during campaign thus far. Noted particulars are the Mortant Armored as well as the ‘Hammers’ Sentinel troupe, amongst others. A small affair being reported over vox for benefit of division morale. The 72nd, out of all my regiments, took the most damage. Given the situation that I stuck them into, it seemed reasonable that I give them a period of R&R to be fresh for whatever comes next. While cycling through for R&R, I was hoping to dredge up some volunteers for a counter-infiltration through the tunnels that the Orks took into the cathedral, assuming that they haven’t been barred. Figured that we should take a peek behind the lines. During the down time the 5th wouldn’t have down time. A concentrated effort would be made to flush out and exterminate the Kommandoz behind our lines. To hopefully give an edge, or at least a better chance of finding the Orks, I was thinking about getting some support from the Arbites. Assuming that they are still around somewhere resting, I would like to get their insight into where the local nooks and crannies. And with the 143rd, I was hoping to put their stealth benefits to work. They were probably going to sneak along the perimeter of the Palace and find targets/coordinates for artillery. Maybe even locate weak points along the wall for sappers to work over. Now how would you gentlemen like to go about this? 72nd: Keep them where they are? I doubt the Sisters would like these scruffy bastards occupying their chapel. And we already do have the fortress secured. Should a recon element be send through the tunnels? 5th: Should they try and flush out the Kommandoz, or would we rather have another regiment on the line? My concern is having infiltrators attacking us from beind. 143rd: Given that the mechanized isn’t coming from the north, we can scrap them clearing the road. Moving them into the Theater might give them a strong cover anchor; but the 92nd kind of did a good job messing the place up. And should we try to demo some of the walls? |

Sounds fine.
I would recommend moving forward a bit while waiting for additional forces; get a fortified line established near the Palace, and that's less ground we'll have to fight our way across. However, you're right, the 72nd needs R&R. How about I push my heavy infantry forward and build a secure defensive line to launch further operations from while your lighter troops focus on prying out the kommandos?
