(Lord Jacobus) Background/Personality: A strict officer, Apawet does not tolerate insubordination amongst his crew, employs many commissars of the fleet. Was born on Vraksworld before being sent to the Schola Prognium. He spent many years there, graduating in the top 5 of his class before being sent to the Abraxis sector. he has served with notable distinction under the command of Commodore norrington, before his untimely demise at the hands of a cultist raid about 2 months earlier. Captain Maximilien McGinty XIII
(=][=Nine Breaker=][=) Background/Personality: Maximilien, though being related to the infamous McGinty Clan, has always distanced himself away from the rest of his bloodline. This is because, while many McGinty’s choose to join the Imperial Guard, Maximilien McGinty the third and all those after him have continued a proud tradition in the Imperial Navy instead. As is characteristic of a Maximilien McGinty, this one is arrogant and ambitious, and strives to become the best Naval commander that the Imperium has ever seen. Though this is hard to do when assigned command of an old piece of junk, Maximilien refuses to give up hope. He also believes in commanding with an iron fist, and McGinty’s naval ratings are some of the toughest money can buy. They reinforce his will mercilessly and are also very helpful in boarding actions. (Brother-Librarian Akritedes) Background/Personality: A Tikonov native, Sergei is a mere youngster by naval measure, nearing middle-age in a less biased and rich view. The son of retired PDF officers, like most other Tikonovian Battlefleet recruits, Sergei is nothing special, in and of himself. He is grey-haired, proud, and overly fond of peppered vodka, but what son of Tikonov isn't, at his age? Relatively even-tempered, Sergei is occasionally prone to outbursts of apopolectic anger when provoked or having partaken in one glass too many. (SilentPsycho) Background/Personality: A large heavyset man, Jerimiah is sometimes a bombastic man, who tirelessly drives his crew, encouraging them to use their intiative and their ingenuity. While his constant crew drills cause grumbling among the men on occasion, his confidence in them in well appreciated, although to the dismay of Fleet Commissars who have seem him tolerate this state of affairs. Executive Officer Name: Isaac Johnson Rank: Lieutenant Appearance: 5’4, 180 lb. Exactly regulation length hair and, oddly enough, a tan. Average build and features means there is little else remarkable about him. Biography: A career naval officer, Lieutenant Johnson hails from the Naval school on De Geb, and is a perfect example of the officer they turn out. His dossier reads much like Captain Ivanovich’s, little to no action, exemplary duty and discipline. In fact, Isaac is the only senior crewmember that Commissar Gregory hasn’t found fault with. Lieutenant Johnson has been noted for extraordinary resolve, as well as good command and social skills. With that combination, he’ll probably go far in this Navy. Commissar Name: Sean Gregory Rank: Commissar Appearance: Standard Commissariat fare. Shaved head, imposing dress, 6’ 200 lb. Flaming red handlebar mustache breaks the mien, however. Biography: A mostly typical Commissar, Gregory’s record has little to distinguish it from other Commissars, although he has been noted as less icy then other Commissars. He has performed his duties well and continues to do so, with a slight temper. Other then this, his record is spotless, although he also appears to enjoy drinking, a vice the Captain shares. Sensor Officer Name: Jarell Jameson Rank: 2nd Lieutenant Appearance: Unfortunately lacking in military uniform discipline, dark skin and hair. Often described as “scruffy”. Biography: Rumored to have attempted entry into the Cult Mechanicus, Jameson is definitely a “tech-weenie”. He knows his sensors and their servitors like the back of his hand, although he still can’t prove that he knows his hand… Communications Officer Name: Robert Earl Rank: 2nd Lieutenant Appearance: Well kept uniform, average height and weight, impeccably waxed mustache and hair. Biography: Second Lieutenant Earl is the picture of the perfect Comms Officer. Suave voice, British accent, and always observes proper protocol. Weapons Officer Name: Johann Wiermacht Rank: 2nd Lieutenant Appearance: Tall, blonde, and Gaulten. Often wears a red scarf, but otherwise follows dress protocols to the letter. Biography: Like the rest of the Challenge's senior crew, Johann is (relatively) good at his job, and rather enjoys it. Firing multiple kiloton explosives at other ships sometimes does that. Still, Johann has proved to be stable, if a bit cold and calculating. He is, however, often difficult to understand due to his accent. Tech-Adept Name: Harrell Rank: Magos Appearance: He’s a Machine Cultist, take a wild guess. Red and gold Federaxian robes and lots of bionics under that. Biography: A loner, like many of his fellow Tech-Adepts, Harrell has thus far performed his duties with aplomb, and has a relatively excellent service record, if somewhat uninformative. Unsurprisingly, Harrell gets along better with second Lieutenant Jameson then anyone else onboard. Helmsman Name: Geordi Fforde Appearance: A De Geb, much like Lieutenant Johnson, Geordi is clean shaven and average height. Biography: A relatively well balanced man, Fforde is untested and untried, fresh out of the academy (aren't we all?). He is nervous, and afraid that somehow he'll screw up and ruin the ship he's assigned to.
