What so ever do you mean Seato? rolleyes.gif

We would never stray from our topic, especially when our topic is delivering the emperor's justice...

"A Grey Knight?" she spoke in a hushed tone.

Haha, I'm just waiting for one of the other sisters to say 'What's a Grey Knight?'

One dose of Warhammer 40.000 fluff-correction coming right up! tongue.gif

People, when talking about fluff, we must always have the golden rule in mind. What WE as roleplayers know about the universe of 40K is FAR more than a normal human in that universe will ever know.

him knowing what a grey knight is is fine. As for fluff...we have never seen a demon stomp a friend of ours or a world burned by viral bombs. The characters are members of the sisters of battle. They will know alot of things the average person will never know, and things even we will not know. If you notice she knows of grey knights but not eldar, leaving room for someone else to talk about eldar and produce conversation.

As long as its not too extreme I'm alright with it. if something is wrong I'll let the player know.

i would also say that a sister would be educated with a passable knowledge of all branches of the inquisition.

Umm...

The thing is noone is meant to know about the grey knights...

I can't find the Daemonhunters dex at the mo to prove my point but the thing is Grey Knights are secret. Any guard units are cleansed after witnessing Deamons anyway and that is why you can't take marines in a deamonhunters army...
The reason you can take Grey Knights in Guard and Marine armies is because they turn up and then disapear...
Noone really knows about Greyknights except for rumours.

And most of the squad are young. They wouldn't of had the chance to meet the ordo malleus yet i don't reckon. And how would the sisters know about Eldar gates? Noone knows about them except for inquisitors and ranking members of the astartes.
Maybe rogue traders too.

But after reading through the description i realised something...
The armour is gold...

I think this guy is either meant to be an inquisitor or an Adeptus Custodes...
At least from the description...

Besides, Grey Knights are never deployed alone. They are always deployed with their squad...

I believe firmly in the ignorane of Imperials. Sisters of Battle and Space Marines are no exception: They too know little compared to what is divulged in all the codexes, even the Horus Heresy is clouded in mystery for almost everyone not in a position of influence in the Imperial organisation. On many planets, they don't even know of the Heresy or the Space Marines or whatever.

That said, my character has specifically been involved in a campaign where the Ordo Malleus appeared, if only briefly.

And as to the body: Old knightly armour, a nemesis force halberd, a storm bolter built into the fore arm of the armour... He's a Grey Knight...... At least from the description.

It doesn't actaully say that it is a nemesis force halberd...

The guy has a stormbolter on his gauntlet, a halberd and gold armour...
Sounds like a mix of Grey Knight and Custodes...
Thats why i suggested inquisitor.

And Custodes are more likely to be attached to guardsmen than a Grey Knight...
And the custodes are the ones with the knightly looking power armour.
Grey Knights are all wearing MK8 suits...

Their helmets are shaped like medieval helmets. And the halberd is just a bit much for coincidence not to be a nemesis weapon. But, anyway, if Rotwulf decides for him to be a Custodes, than so be it.

Do you guys think he would tell us what the man was BEFORE we actually find out by ourselves?

Of course not: I haven't hinted at the contrary.

I wasn't complaining that YOUR character knew what the Grey Knights were. Just that EVERY OTHER sister there seems to blankly ignore you seeming to know something about the curious figure, or you mentioning 'Grey Knights'. Whatever THEY are. rolleyes.gif

i'm here, just went to get food. I think that is allowed. Its my wife's birthday after all and i wanted to treat her to something nice.

Anyway, the figure is a grey knight. Doubt as to what it is can stay in the actual rp. As for what is going on, it will become a little clearer in my next post. We are about to have some action. biggrin.gif

Keep your heads about you and everything will run smoothly. Any qustions about what you can/can not do should be directed to my PM. That way it won't clutter the board. If you want something special, let me know and i'll try and work it in. Also remember not to throw too many conclusions into your posts. I expect posts to go rapidly but don't worry if your a little behind. I plan on reply when I can so action can keep moving, so if your skipped its not a huge deal, just do a longer post when you get the chance to catch up.
