Secret Refuge

[Lothlómendil]

It had been many ages in the lives of mortal men since Lothlómendil had last left her temple grounds. Ever since the darkness had taken the land, she had remained hidden. But now it was too urgent to stay behind and watch as the last stronghold of light receded. She had to bring aid in the God of Light's hour of need.

She feared what would happen to her temple and the things that she kept safe there, but she could not remain idle any loger. Guising herself in shabby robes and a hood to cover her face, she walked through the city unnoticed. There were the few that bumped into her in the cold and dark streets and their eyes widened as they turned to look again at her, but they were never sure. She did not look back.

Solemnly, she reached the high gates to the Temple of Light, and here it is where she pulled back her hood at last. "Open the gates!" she called, power in her voice and awe in the faces of those that saw her. She had arrived.

[Lynx Alacult]

-His body was masked by a black cloak he stode on an street coner watching her silently his staff held in his right hand he was wondering what she was doing and knew he would most likely find out-

"......Intresting......."

-He spoke quitely almost a whisper as not to draw too much attention to him self-

[Mazzer]

The gates that led into the temple slowly opened. The God of Light, Mazzer, walked to the temple gates with two gaurds. He looked at the stranger who had called out.
"The Goddess of Nature. What is it that draws you to my temple?" Mazzer said with a grin, awaiting the goddess' reply.

[Lothlómendil]

"Hello Mazzer," she replied, giving a brief and half-hearted smile. Quickly she spoke again, hushedly. "Please, may we hold private counsil? There is a reason the I have left my temple after many ages of hiding. This darkness is all consuming, and I would like very much to be safe inside your protection." They had many things to discuss, and the time was urgent. She had found one to lead them against the darkness....

[The White Knight Tulkas]

Waiting patiently outside of the temple as he had been instructed by his mysterious guide, Tulkas wondered about many things. Was it his duty as he had been told to accomplish great things? Whos was this mysterious woman that had brought him here? Would he ever get to feel the sun upon his brow again? The chill of the night air reached him, and he pulled his cape shut around him as he leaned against the wall waiting.

[Lynx Alacult]

-He lisstened intently on their talk keeping his gaze fixed on the ground as they spoke, he tapped his staff on the ground a bit waiting to see what happend next, then a thought came to him what if Raku knew about this...would he be angry, he smiled to him self thinking about it raku was one to get angry rather easy,but then again he wondered what good would come from telling him there was no point to it, he nodded to him self looking up slightly at Mazzar and Lothlomendil his fingers drumming on the top of his staff-

[The White Knight Tulkas]

Tulkas began to grow weary of waiting alone. He decided to go ahead and look for the mysterious woman that had brought him here. There was something about her that he could not name...

He rounded the corner of the outer gates, and came upon the woman talking in whispers to the God of Light himself! He immideately dropped to one knee. "My Lord, forgive me for intruding. I could wait no longer for the fair lady to return with news of you." He looked up, hoping that they would tell him more about why he was here.

[Lothlómendil]

Turning, Lothlómendil saw that Tulkas had ventured in. "Please, rise. Let us go inside the temple before we speak of anything. It is not safe out here, no one knows who may be listening." She had a feeling that someone indeed was listening, she could feel them there. It was another god, but who she did not know or care. She was only certain that it was not Raku, and that was all she needed for now. "Please Mazzer, may we go inside so someplace secure from prying eyes and open ears?"

[Lynx Alacult]

-He sighed walking across the street to greet them. He walked up to Lothlomendil, nodding to her letting down his hood. The blue markings on his face glowing softly he smiled slightly to her and nodded to mazzer-

"..I am sorry....i did not mean to ease drop like that...i was simply in the area...forgive me, if you wish i will be on my way again..."

-He watched them intently, as if waiting on a responce from one of them. He was a god yes, but he respected the other gods as he would anyone else-

[Lothlómendil]

"Ah, Lynx, it is you. I knew that there was another god close, but I could not tell which. You may join us if you like, but we must make haste." She turned to Mazzer. "Are we ready now?"

[Mazzer]

"Yes, you may come into my temple grounds, where we can discuss things further. Mazzer said to Lothlómendil, Tulkas, and Lynx.
Mazzer slowly walked back into the temple, where the counsil could be held.

[Lothlómendil]

As they entered the temple, Lothlómendil turned to Mazzer. "What is the most secure place to speak, your personal quarters or elsewhere?" She glanced around hoping that they would be able to speak soon.

Tulkas followed them into the temple, feeling akward in the presence of the dieties. They were so powerful, and he was a mere human. He stood, listening patiently as Lothlómendil inquired about a secure place to speak. He himself was still unsure of what he was doing here.
