God of Darkness Group: Admin Posts: 8,388,607 Member No.: 1 Joined: 4-February 04	These are the basic rules of Sangoria. Any breaking of the rules can and will result in a warning. You are allowed 5 warnings until you are banned from Sangoria. After four, your username will have severe restrictions placed upon it. 1. Have fun! This is the whole point of Role-Playing! 2. No spamming. There is no LGP rule here in Sangoria and I do not care if your posts are very short, but anyone seen taking advantage of this will be given a warning. 3. No godmoding. This is where you play your character as an all-powerful being. This rule obviously does not apply for the gods of Sangoria, but I expect them to reserve themselves. 4. No power-playing. This involves controlling the actions of someone elses character. There is a little more leniency over the control of you own characters from another of your own usernames, but it is still very limited. 5. Please keep smilies in the Out Of Character posts ONLY. 6. You cannot say you have items/weapons/creatures/spells, unless you have bought them. This includes most items, except clothing and other essential items. 7. Sangoria is set in a medieval/fantasy world, much like Tolkein's Middle-Earth. There are no guns, no blue jeans, etc. 8. You must use your real birthday in your profile information. To know more about why, click HERE. You are also not allowed to change your birthday. If you have the incorrect birthday in your profine, please notify me, and I will change it myself. 9. If the shops do not include an item you wish to buy, you can alter an item closest to the item you wish to buy (Example: A longsword could be called a rapier). You also cannot make the weapon more powerful than what it really is. If you are unsure of the legality of any modification, be sure to post in the help forums BEFORE you make the change. This will spare you from any unnecessary warnings. 10. Only one character per username. You can have multiple usernames, though. 11. Please post your topics in the correct forums. Example: Do NOT advertise for a site that you like in the General OOC Boards. They have a designated location of their own. 12. You may not kill off someone else's character unless they give you explicit permission to do so. 13. There is a Dungeon Master for Sangoria that randomly posts. You must obide by what the DM says. Things ABSOLUTELY not tolerated in Sangoria: These are things that will not be tolerated at Sangoria at all. If anyone breaks these guidelines, they will be immediately banned. 1. No excessive swearing, no nude images (avatars or otherwise), no drugs, no sex (nothing beyond making out. You wanna do more than that, do it somewhere else or in Private Messages). 2. If you are found to be harassing other members you will be removed, no questions asked.
