[Iolanthe Spenser]

A towel dropped onto a pool chair, followed by a large band t-shirt and a pair of flipflops. The person who these articles of clothing came from was a vampiress, who wore a bikini that clung to her thin bodice. Swimming would be nice, she had to admit to that fact. It was almost like flying, except no air was around you. Iolanthe could swim underwater for as long as she liked as well, for she had no need to breathe.

She dove in straight away, her pale body cutting through the water like a knife through butter. Easily, without resistance. One lap, two, three. Faster than any mortal could swim, but still at a leisurely pace. Iolanthe was taking her time, not in any hurry. She began to wonder, as she swam back and forth repetitively, how many other students took advantage of this pool. Well, she wondered more whether she would get company down here or if she would have it all to herself.

He didn't know why but he decided to pop down to the indoor swimming pool and see if anyone was there that he could either talk to, seduce or talk down to. It was his way and he was interested in finding someone who actually had a brain in this place that he could talk to but at the moment the pickings had been pretty slim and all he could think about was that girl he had met in that secluded place in that little village called Caerleon. She hadn't been deluded and been obssessed with how she looked. It was ever so much refreshing and he hadn't been able to forget about the way that she looked at him.

Pushing the door open to the swimming pool area he was instantly caught off guard by the strong smell of chlorine. It always made him wince with shock and he wasn't sure why.Running one of his slender hands through his untidy black hair he approached the pool and a smirk stood across his face as he recognised the figure swimming as a female and that intrigied him ever so much.

"Well, what do we have here?"

Normally Iolanthe didn't like repetitive things, but she discovered that the longer she lived, the more repetition she ran into. Sometimes it was nice to just take a break and do something over and over again, such as swimming back and forth. It helped her to take her mind off everything else she'd seen. Deciding for a change of scenery(pool floors aren't very interesting), she went to swim on her back and was surprised to see a guy standing at the edge of the pool. She sped up and reached the edge of the pool. Her head poked above the water as she looked up at him, the rest of her body remaining underwater.

She could recall hearing a muffled noise when underwater that she couldn't understand and it occured to her that perhaps he had said something. She smiled softly and asked, "I'm sorry, did you say something?"

At first his thought was that she obviously didn't hear him because she didn't answer back but that was probably because she had her head under the water and therefore her hearing was blocked by the water. He really did think in a strange way and thats why he didn't express himself that often. Kneeling down by the side of the pool he was greeted by her voice and her asking him what he had previously said. He started to laugh softly at that thought and at her cute wet state.

"Yeah i was just admiring you m'dear if thats alright with you. Anyway i'm Gerard Neeson by the way"

Her grin broadened a bit and she decided that she definitely liked this guy. Flattery definitely got you brownie points with Iolanthe, but only brownie points. Still, that was a start. She acted as though she were thinking over whether that was alright or not for a moment as she tread water, then laughed softly.

"Oh really? Well, please, do continue. I'd hate to interrupt." She grinned impishly up at him as she moved a bit farther away from the wall, the blondish-brown tips of her hair fanned out in the water. Hearing his name, she stored that information away for use later on. "Iolanthe Spenser, but please, just Nox or Spenser."

Gerard grinned a little at this girl's openness and that fact that she didn't mind him admiring her. In these last few months he had given himself the reputation as the ultimate bad boy whore of Dark Shadows High and he wasn't able to stop himself having anyone he laid his dark eyes on. Reaching up he smoothed some of his dark hair from his face so he could keep his eyes on her better.

"Nox, thats a very pretty name. I'm defintily going to remember that one "

She smiled as he complimented her middle name, which really was shortened for some old disgusting name her parent's had given her. Speaking of, she wondered if her father had gotten the typical cremation most men of his status normally got back then. Nox hadn't spoken to them since leaving with her sire. Oh well, no need to really think about it now.

"So, did you just come to look or are you actually going to get in the water?"
