Personality: Emmeline is proper with a twist. Dotted I's and crossed T's in hot pink pen. Her passion is understanding how things work and that includes people. Unfortunately sometimes that supersedes her compassion. Rarely irritated and without patience she is an ideal psychiatrist with less than ideal experience. Capable of lying or bending the truth when it suits her needs as well as being kind if it helps her obtain her ultimate goal, Emm is a strange duplicity. For at the same time when she genuinely likes someone she will go out of her way to treat them well.
I remember: A boy from down the way taking me on a ride in his carriage out into the woods. We shouldn't have been there but the weather was so deliciously nice that we couldn't refuse. Our only obstacle was the old wood cutter's farm. Strange rumors surfaced about that place and on this day we would find the truth of them. We slowed as we rolled by, we thought we heard voices which was unusual because not many people travel this road. Eventually we saw a man beating a woman and when he finished she crawled to him on hands and knees and kissed his feet and apologized and begged for him to beat her again. Since that day I've had a desire to understand what makes people do the things they do.
I came to Wesswick with no letter of reccomendation, or really much training. They'll have anyone here, they're so desperate.. but its not all bad. I've heard that the Doctor has been performing experiments and that several of the patients are extreme case studies. Perfect!
