Don't be fooled with the title, this isn't an NWA rip-off, although the impact that YT is making isnt far from what the infamous Compton-based group did over 10 years ago. It's great to see another homegrown tallent creating such a buzz, and this time it's in the form of Raggae.
The scene is hardly fiting, a white MC from East Anglia (where?), the stuggle was always going to be difficult for YT to sell and distribute his music to the rest of the nation. YT has never been one to step away from a challenge, and listening to the album i sincerely hope the success and recognition that YT receives, is equal to the quality on the album.
The release date for the album is July 24th, and the album has already been hyped as one of the best Reggae albums to date, competing with the likes of Greensleeves or VP release by top Jamaican artists. Not to mention that YT has future collaborations lined up with The Prodigy, and De La Soul, the future looks bright for the Ipswich-born MC.
