Pleased, Durus took hold of the two remaining rabbits and walked to his own den, dropping the remaining normally killed hare in the kill pile on the way.

When he was settled in his den, he quickly devoured the remains of his maimed rabbit, finishing everything but some fur and the several bones he couldn't crack. The wolf used his nose to nudge the remains out of his den until they were near the kill pile. Anyone could do what they wanted with it.

Abyss had grown bored of his uneventful lifestyle and was lying on a boulder trying to think of what he would do today.

Abyss jumped down from the rock and started to head for the cemetary to clear his head.
