BrightFang Camp, In dens along the riverbank...

BrightFang camp is situated right on the riverbank. Centuries ago, the wolves dug dens into the muddy riverbank and dug a sort of moat in front of them so they wouldn't flood. To get to the dens you have to swim across the moat, but it's not that wide.

as Eve walked into camp she looked back now and then making sure Frostbite was close they neared the moat. "get ready, just swim ahead and you'll be fine". Eve barked as she splashed into the moat and began to swim across. hoping Frostbite would be fine. it wasnt that deep but there were spots where your paw sunk in the mud.

Frostbite stared at the water. The ground to her looked like a mixture of blues, greens and browns, it was hard to tell where the river started and the ground ended. Feeling with her forepaws, she found out when her paw hit water instead of solid ground.

Carefully, she slid into the water. Treading with her paws, she reached the other side without much difficulty. Testing with her forepaws as she did earlier, she was able to find the ground and pull herself out of the water.

Eve waited on the other side of the moat waiting for Frostbite to cross. she watched as the she-wolf swam across without much difficulty. she groomed her fur trying to dry it as much as possible and began yawning.

"im going to bed Frostbite, im tired. ill be in the "mother" den if you need me". Eve yawned. she was the one who chose a specific den and ever sinse began calling it the "mother" den. she entered it and curled up in one of the available nests and fell asleep.

"Sleep well!" Frostbite called after Eve before she herself decided to curl up somewhere at the edge of camp and take a nap. She found her sleeping place by scent.

Walking in several circles on her spot, she lay down and closed her eyes. Eve would be having her pups some time soon, Frost knew that much. She wondered what the pups would be like, if they'd play with her when they were old enough or not, and there was another thought on her mind.

Each time she was aware of a mother having pups, Frostbite always feared that there would be one that would end up like her, one that could be shunned and abused only because something went wrong in them.

Eve woke up and began yawning. she felt someone push her stomache only to realise it was one of her pups. she licked her stomache trying to comfort them, even if they had no clue.

Eve walked out of the den looking around for any wolves. only about four, most were probally out hunting. so she looked around for Frostbite, noticing she was still asleep. I shouldnt bother her, let her sleep. Eve thought. she remembered something, Brightfang's healer told her to stretch and Excersise alot while she is pregnat, to avoid cramping the pups.

So she swam across the moat to stretch in Brightfangs territory.

Frostbite awoke to the scent of food. She lifted her head, excited at the thought of eating. Then she rested her head back on her paws. Omega always ate last.

The albino she-wolf recognized the shape of Eve as the she-wolf came, with what was obviously prey dangling from her mouth. Frostbite sniffed and scented fish and squirrel. Licking her lips, she wondered if she would get a share, it didn't seem like it would be much... for the pack. For one wolf, that was almost a lot, for a whole pack, not quite.

As Eve trotted into camp she reconized Frostbite, the blind albino she-wolf. She noticed Frostbite licking her lips with a hungry look.Eve grinned at her, she sat down a tail-length away while dropping the food in front of Frostbite.

"You can eat all of it if you want". Eve muttered. After thinking for a bit she had just thought of a question she wanted to ask Frostbite since they first ever met."were you born blind, Frostbite. If you dont want to tell me you dont have to". She hoped she hadnt offended her friend. She was just curious, thats all.

Frostbite grinned when Eve put the food in front of her, then the smile faded from her face. "S-shouldn't you feed the pack first?" she asked. She feared the pack would see Eve feeding the omega first and punish her. That would be bad. With Eve's bellyful of growing pups, the last thing she needed was any pain and stress inflicted on her. It wasn't healer-level intelligence, it was just an obvious, known fact.

Frost twitched when she heard Eve's question. "Yes..." she answered, pale red eyes on the ground.

Eve looked away for a moment feeling uncertian if she had hurt her friends feelings but looked back to answer her question

"I dont see that I have too. Besides, i have a good reason. Im feeding you, who is the omega. and the omega's job is to watch the pups. So you will be watching my pups, and i want you to be fit and healthy for it". The last part Eve let out a chuckle and looked at Frostbite again, giving her a comforting lick.

"Anyway if they try to punish me, they're punishing the packs future. So hurry eat up, i want you to be strong when my pups come, they're a handfull already".
