Here is where the darkest wolves in existence reside. It's a rocky clearing surrounded by tall trees, with huge boulders scattered around it. Most of the wolves dig underneath the rocks to make a den with a stone ceiling. Some of them just sleep on top of the rocks when it's not raining and next to them when it is...

Exhausted, Kinoku entered camp. On her way there she had no luck with hunting, and now she felt like collapsing. She slowly entered the healers den before curling up in a ball, trying to let sleep over power her.

But sleep did not come, she got up from her nest and went to the entrance to her den. She looked upon her pack mates searching for no one in particular, when her eyes rested on Shade. He was the packs omega, she had spoken to him only a few times having to heal the wounds his own pack mates gave him. What a life it must be being omega, not that she would ever what it. Realizing sleep was aproaching her she settled down to sleep again. Yawning once she fell into deep slumber.

Shade looked uneasily around the clearing, checking for possible malcontents who might take their frustration out on him, before slinking across to the kill pile. He looked around once more before dipping his head quickly to eat. He only managed one bite before someone stepped on his tail. Hard.

Restraining a yelp, he leaped aside to let the ash-gray wolf eat. He suspected that he'd been waiting for Shade to come so he could purposefully antagonize him. A lot of ShadowSwipe wolves were like that. He couldn't say anything or fight back, however, not that he would want to.

Sighing, he sat down a few paces away while the ash-gray wolf ate. After a few moments he realized that the wolf wasn't really eating, just sitting there taking occasional bites so Shade couldn't eat. The gray wolf smirked sideways at him.

Might as well go and hunt for myself, Shade thought heavily. I'm not going to get to eat here anytime soon.

Kinoku woke up looking puzzled, not knowing if she had heard a yelp. She got up from her nest, shaking moss that clung to her pelt, and sat at the entrance to her den. After looking for a minute, she realized the wolf that yelped was shade.

Getting up, Kinoku walked over to the ash-gray wolf who was causing trouble, and smacked him on the side of the head hard with her paw. The wolf looked dazed for a second but shot straight up growling loudly to his opponet, only to stop noticing it was their healer. He gave one last growl, and picked up his prey and walked off somewhere else. "

"Next time keep it quiet or i'll rip your ear off". Kinoku growled back to the annoyed wolf. "What's a she-wolf got to do to get some sleep around here, well sinse im awake i probally should go herb hunting". she muttered.
Kinoku left it at that not even looking to see if Shade was still there and left camp.

Entering camp Kinoku strolled in her den placing the berries close to the back of her herb shelf to keep them dry. Deciding that would be enough for today she walked outside of her den and sat close to the fresh-kill pile.

Hopefully some hunters had gone out, there wasn't much in the fresh-kill pile but a two pigeons and a squirrel, and plus she was starving. Before she could finish her thoughts she smelled meat and close by, maybe hunters did go out. Kinoku got up and walked over to the entrance to camp and sat down. She licked her lips hungrily, food was aproaching.

The chuckling that was shaking a scruffy wolf's frame as muffled by the prey in his jaws. Three dead rabbits bumped against his paws as he carried them by their ears to the camp. The wolf had tangled, messy fur of grey and brownish grey colors. The left side of his face was a deformed mess from a fight for the position he held now.

One of the rabbits was horribly maimed, blood covering its fur in all places. The other two were what you'd expect, one with a bite only on the neck, the other on the spine. The first rabbit was his. His toy. The other two were for the pack if they wanted it.

Beta Durus of Shadowswipe Pack entered the camp.

Kinoku was surprised when the crazy beta walked in camp, she hadnt scented him. But then again, the scent she was focusing on probally masked his. When she looked at Durus closer she noticed he had rabbits. Well, it was food. She walked toward Durus lowering her tail but not in submission, he allways creeped her out with being mega crazy.

Once she was close enough for him to hear her she tried asking for a rabbit.
"Um, beta Durus, may i have one of those to eat"? when she said those she pointed with her paw toward the rabbits. While she looked at them once more she saw one was horribly maimed. The sight of it made her flinch, even only for a moment. She hoped he hadnt noticed.

Durus, still grinning, unceremoniously dropping the rabbits to speak. "Sure sure Healer Kinoku!" he said cheerfully, nudging one of the rabbits to her.

Then his paw touched his maimed rabbit. "But this'un mine!" His tone and expression switched from jovial to hostile in the blink of an eye. Moving the rabbit closer to him, he growled, "Mine! Mine!"

Then he switched back to happy and smiling. "Okay?"

OOC: biggrin.gif i know some of the stuff she said might of not happened but i want people to realize how crazy Durus is. And i love Durus he always makes me laugh.

Kinoku's fur was bristling with fury as Durus lashed out with anger out of no where. But when his mood changed back to cheerful, she calmed herself and replied to avoid ripping his ear off, "uh... yes that rabbit is your's, and thanks for the food, Im grateful for it".

As quickly as the conversation had started, she grabbed the rabbit and unusually fled to her den. As she let out a shudder of relief she began tearing into the rabbit. At that moment she couldn't get Durus's expression out of her face. He had been such a well mannered and sane wolf before the incident..now.. She hardley reconised him.

She remembered the days before when they used to hunt together now and then, he acting like any normal wolf. Now she swore he was a crazy demon ready to reck havoc on her and and every wolf in the pack. Finishing the rabbit, she left her den and walked out of camp.
