This is the abandoned warehouse on the west side of the main compound where the form users have their meetings. It is essentially the form users' headquarters. It consists of a main ground floor, a large upstairs council room, a west wing, and an east wing. The council room is where the meeting takes place; the west wing is where they store weapons and armor, and the east wing is the hospital wing. The main ground floor consists of a lobby and two rooms; the two rooms are used for sleeping space when an overnight stay is required. The council room has tinted windows looking out over the main compound. There are always two guards on post; one at the front door to check for the password, one on the windowsill of the council room.

There is currently a meeting going on to which all form users are invited. Jacqueline Willard is presiding as leader, and the current password is "Riverside's spectacular."

Humming softly to herself, Jacqueline walked up the path to the main entrance. The guard on duty was a RiverSwift form user. Jacqueline gave him a quick nod, murmured "Riverside's spectacular," and walked inside.

None of the form users had arrived yet except for the guard at the windowsill upstairs, who had an arrow nocked to her bow and was intently staring out of the tinted window. Jacqueline and a couple of other form users had bored holes in the wooden walls for form users to shoot arrows out of if there was ever an invasion. They were barely noticeable from the outside, just little imprints in the plaster.

Jacqueline walked past the council room into the west wing. Here was where she spent most of her time when she wasn't arguing in the council room; surrounded by the glitter of countless weapons, fingering the smooth finish of battle armor. She took the book out of her pocket and struck a match, admiring the reflection of the flickering orange light on the metal. Funny how matchboxes were called books; fire and books didn't mix.

There was a row of her favorite weapons, standing up against the far wall; scimitars. At least a half dozen, all shiny and well-kept. Nathaniel, the weapons-keeper, knew how much she liked them. There was one in particular her eyes sought for when she looked over the row; there it was. With a jeweled hilt and a keen, blue-tinted blade, it was her favorite by far. Written along its blade in flowing cursive script was the motto, "Insanity is relative." Nathaniel had inscribed it at her request. He was a very good smith.

Jacqueline crossed the room to it and picked it up, tossing it lightly from hand to hand and admiring its keen balance. After a few minutes of doing this, she walked over to a barrel standing in the corner and kicked off the lid. It contained eight gallons of gasoline; that was why she had to be especially careful while lighting matches in this room. There was a reason for its presence, though. She dipped the long, curved blade of the scimitar in it up to its hilt, and drew it out, dripping.

Next she took the book of matches out of her pocket again. Striking a match, she held it to the gasoline-soaked blade. It flared up immediately, a brand of fire with a cutting edge. She flourished it in the air, being careful not to let it near the barrel. This was how she preferred to take down her enemies, without even going into wolf form. She loved the light of the fire and the heat it gave off as it burned, an inch from her fingertips, lighting up the room with its beautiful glow.

OOC: She really is obsessed. biggrin.gif All my doing, of course.

Sorrow had already changed back into herself by the time she had reached the compound, she emerged from the forest and began slowly, walking towards.. well she didn't know what, but she would.

Minutes after she had left the forest, and BrightFang, Sorrow found herself slowing down to a point of a stop, she was atleast a block or two away from the Abandoned Warehouse, yet it was in sight. She stood, staring at it.
" Why did i stop here? " she wondered to herself, she stook one step forward, then took one back, she turned away "For some reason i want to go there.. for another i dont.." she wondered outloud. She looked over her shoulder, curiousity would get the better of her, win this battle for sure. She spun on her heel a little too quickly and almost toppled over onto the ground, but caught her balance by putting her hands out infront, stopping herself. She pushed herself back up and stared at the Warehouse, she sighed "Might aswell, what could it hurt?" she mumbled to herself, and keeping with the slow pace, she kept on walking, always stopping every 5 meters and rethinking, as always, curiousity* getting the best of her.

Ray would have preferred to travel in wolf form the whole way, but as they neared the compound he knew it would be suspicious. Reluctantly he changed back into a human and motioned for Benj to do the same, straightening up on two legs as his clothing reappeared and the fish bites disappeared. Injuries in one form didn't show up in the other, but you could still feel them. And human bodies had less tolerance for injuries.

Now the journey was more painful. Wincing with every step he took, he thought that he would soon collapse. When they reached the guard at the door of the warehouse, he racked his brains for the password. He could only remember what it had been a week ago. "Riverside's spectacular?" The guard nodded and moved aside.

The moment they ascended the steps into the council room, he knew where Jacqueline was by the smell of smoke lingering in the air. Before every meeting she invariably went to the west wing, where she played with fire, heedless of the barrel of gasoline in the corner. Ray smiled. She had always been a risk-taker.

He turned to Benj. "I guess we're not late after all. C'mon, let's get Jake. We can't start the meeting without her."

Without waiting for the other form user's answer, he limped out of the council room and into the hall leading to the west wing. Now that they were within the safety of the warehouse, he could change back into wolf form if he wanted to, but he wouldn't be able to talk to Jake that way. Down the tiled hallway, up a pair of short steps, through a fancy decorated doorway, and into the weapons room, where he immediately spotted Jake juggling three flaming scimitars.

Sorrow had stopped a good distance from it now. Only because she had people, people, she did not know.
She watched them stop at the door, her ear's pricked, catching the words 'Riverside's spectacular' she had no clue what it meant, and she did not want to know.

Sorrow stared at the building, still wondering what those people were going in for, why they were they're.
"They are probaly Druggies Sors, stay away from the building" a small voice from the back of her head spoke, but she pushed it away.
That is when she noticed that she was in site of anything or anyone from the buildings top windows. She made a dash to the side, hiding behind a tree, she did not want to be seen here by the people inside.
"They're probaly Satanists and are doing evil rituals" she mumbled to herself grabbing hold of the tree's rough bark and wrapping her legs around the side, she inched her way up the trunk until she grabbed hold to the nearest branch, which then she pulled herslf up on and then grabbed another, and another and another, until she could no more go up because the branches up there were to thin and would break easily.
She pushed the tree's foliage* out of her face and peered through, staring at the building. Waiting for somethign to happen.

Jacqueline picked up another scimitar and dunked it in the barrel of gasoline. Throwing the first one up in the air, she lit a match and flared the second scimitar all in one fluid movement, just in time to catch the first one. She bared her teeth in a wolfish grin. It always gave her a rush to juggle flaming scimitars. She did the same with a third one, and started to juggle all three, moving slowly away from the gasoline and toward the window.

She cast a casual glance out the window and almost dropped a scimitar. She caught it just in time and stopped juggling, holding all three scimitars still as she pressed her face to the windowpane. There was a girl sitting in a tree, watching the warehouse intently. Oh no! They'd been discovered!

She heard footsteps and turned to the door in time to see Ray and Benj Fuego entering. "Guys!" she exclaimed, rushing toward them. "There's someone watching us! I think she might have seen me, doing the thing with the scimitars - " She held up the still-burning weapons.

Indeed Sorrow had, She nearly fell back, nevermind letting go of the foliage.
She couldn't let her words be stuck in her head "Oh, My Gawd! They are Satanists!" she exclaimed to herself, her legs clinged to the tree as she swung herself back, her hands grabbed hold of a branch below, instantly her legs let go and she was vertible for only a second, but swung her body of her head, her feet landing on a slant of the branch.
She sat down, not daring to pull open the Foliage again. Shaking slightly she reached and only disturbed the leaves a little, onyl barely eneough so her eyes could look through.

Without waiting for Ray and Benj to answer, Jacqueline extinguished the scimitars with the palm of her hand and ran to the window. Hoisting it open and propping up her elbow under it, she wriggled through and sat on the windowsill, peering into the foliage of the tree. The girl wasn't visible anymore, but Jacqueline had keen sight. She spotted a pair of glinting eyes through the leaves, and a lock of honey-blonde hair poking through.

"I'm going in," she called decisively over her shoulder. Cautiously she extended one leg into the tree and awkwardly fumbled around for a branch to step on. She found a sturdy one with her foot and slowly moved onto it with her other foot, gritting her teeth in concentration. Eurgh, the girl would probably be gone long before Jacqueline could reach her.

OOC: Jacqueline isn't as good a climber as Sorrow biggrin.gif

Sorrow's eye's widened and she let go of the leaves and swung herself onto another branch, but with such force that her right leg collasped* on the branch and tilted her body, Sorrow bit her lip but fixxed herself. She looked back up at the girl coming in the tree.

She grabbed hold of the branch below and lowered herself onto it more carfully, her leg tingled but she ignored it, all it did was hit a nerve hopefully.
She stopped there though, she wanted to know what the Satanists where doing with they're fire ritual, and why.

-Omg XD Sorrow's got the wrong idea-

OOC: I know, isn't it great? laugh.gif

BIC:

To Jacqueline's surprise, the girl climbed down a couple branches but didn't try to escape any farther. "Stupid," she hissed, hoisting herself farther into the tree. Her limbs ached with the effort. Jeez, you can juggle flaming scimitars but you can't climb a tree? Deciding to risk falling, she swung herself off the branch and let go, hoping to land on the branch the girl was on.

She almost made it. Almost. If that stupid branch hadn't gotten in her face, she would have landed perfectly. As it was, she twisted in midair, clawing leaves out of her face, and fell past the branch she was aiming at, crashing onto one a few feet below. At least now she was between the girl and her escape route.
