"Good job. Now Heracross attack quickly and use focus punch."i said happy the counter hit.

Heracross drew back it's fist, focusing in on an attack on Buneary. Buneary starting running quickly towards Heracross, but was too slow and sent flying into a tree. Buneary was greatly damaged but got back up and used Ice Beam on Heracross. Heracross was frozen! (D:) Oh no!

"Heracross thaw yourself out it by using sunny day then use mega horn after you're thawed out." i yelled furius that the buneary use ice beam.

It was no use, Heracross would have to let the sun that's out right now thaw it out. As the Heracross was thawing, Buneary layed back and relaxed. Gaining a little hp back, but not very much. Buneary was enjoying the sun.

i walked over to my heracross and carefully moved him into the sun. i sent out ponyta and commanded it to use fire blast.

(ooc fire moves are boosted because of stab and because of sunny day right)

(OOC: What is 'Stab' and Sunny Day isn't in use at the moment.)

Heracross just sat there, motionless. Just an iceberg basically. Buneary got bored and started to hop from tree to tree and disappeared into one tree. You, not knowing Buneary is just waiting, still wait for Heracross to thaw even with Ponyta using Fire Blast. (Weird huh?).

(ooc stab is a boost that boosts the power of a pokemon's moves if move is the same type as the pokemon.)

frustrated by the bad communication i return my heracross and tell my ponyta to use takedown on the buneary, miss on purpose and use flare blitz from behind.

[Caffeinated Doom]

(Code, STAB stands for "same type attack bonus" - Pokemon get a 1.5x boost in strength from using a move the same type as they are.)

Buneary hops out of the tree, making Take Down miss. It lands gracefully on its feet, then uses Protect to dodge Flare Blitz. Heracross is thawing nicely, but it's not out of the ice yet. Buneary cocks its head and watches the ice slowly melt.

"Ponyta use flamethrower and try to burn the Buneary." i call out to Ponyta hoping Heracross will thaw out soon.

[Jokers Wild]

Large flames begin to form in Ponyta's mouth, and after a moment are shot out heading right for Buneary. Buneary begins to go in shock, but soon trys to jump out of the way. A little too late though, and the flames engulf Buneary into a pool of flames.

The flames finally disappear, and all thats left is a thick smoke. After the smoke fades, you notice Buneary had been hurt pretty well. It was almost out. Luckily for it though, it wasnt burned.

Buneary finds enough to strength however, and uses Pound on Ponyta. The pound is sucessful, but Buneary fell to one knee on the ground. You could see it was almost out of energy.

Heracross is very close to thawing.

"Good job Ponyta," i yell in encouragement to Ponyta," now use bounce on the buneary."

[Shadow of Regice]

Bounce hit the buneary, and it retaliates with ice beam on ponyta! It doesn't to much damage, but some ice accumulates on its legs.

"Ponyta use extreme speed and right as you hit buneary use flare blitz" i noticed that heracross still was thawing outand i start to hope that he thaws soon.

[Jokers Wild]

"Po!" Ponyta shouted as it began to race around the track. After a few laps, it was moving so fast, it was barely visable! It used this speed, to crash into Buneary.

Buneary was knocked back a few feet, but this didnt stop Ponyta, directly after, she used a Flare Blitz, and it was sucessful. Buneary was knocked down and didnt seem to be able to attack this round. Ponyta took damage from the blitz, but didnt seem to have much energy after that attack.

"good job ponyta" i yelled in encouragement to ponyta "finish it off with double kick" i still wait for heracross to thaw out .

[Caffeinated Doom]

Ponyta hoofs it over to Buneary, then hoofs it in a different, more painful way. Twice. And Buneary is down for the count! Ponyta and Heracross each gain a level, and as this is happening, the last of the ice finally melts, freeing the Bug/Fighting Pokemon thing.

And of course the Bug/Fighting Pokemon thing is immediately almost hit by a car, just when it's trying to get the lingering stiffness out of its arm-things and leg-things. Wait. A car, on a route? In a Pokemon game? That never happens!

"Oh, sorry!" the driver stammers, stopping the car and opening the window. "I'm just in a hurry. I need to get into town right away, and, oh dear, I hope your Pokemon's all right! Oh dear, oh dear, how can I make this up to you? Oh, wait, I know! You're headed to town, right?" You nod. "I could give you a ride."

Do you get in the car with this stranger, or do you keep walking?

(ooc what happened to the trainer i was battling)

i give it some thought and considering the fact im battling a trainer and am winning i turn down his offer and wait for the trainer to send out his next pokemon.

[Caffeinated Doom]

[Whoops. Somehow missed that. Ehe. Also, I'll raise it to two levels each, since I didn't realize it was a trainer.]

The man with the car poofs out of existence and may or may not poof back into existence later. Oh, and the trainer grimaces. "Well, you may have beaten my Buneary, but you can't beat this!" He throws a Pokeball, and out comes Rayquaza! Ohnoez, you're doomed!

Wait, it's actually just a Ditto transformed into Rayquaza. You realize this because it pops back to Ditto form. "H-hey, I told you to stay transformed!"

Ditto just gives its standard dopey smile.

i tell heracross to quickly use focus blast before the ditto can transform and wait call back my ponyta.
