Since the very first days of its founding until just three years ago, Druantia School of Sorcery was an exceptionally exclusive institution known to open its doors to only those of the finest, unsoiled blood. For decades, powerful and wealthy families from Ireland, Great Britain, and even the rest of Europe and America sent their small children off to this well reputed and proud school, knowing their heirs would spend their time living in luxury, receiving one of the finest wizarding educations, and most importantly, meeting and allying with those who are also descendents from an excellent pureblood ancestry.

Because of its earlier decision to not allow those in the wizarding community who are of muggle descent enter its borders, Druantia often received much ridicule and condemnation. For nearly a decade, this proud school was a major target for criticism as many declared it to be a pompous and smug institution that supported intolerance and prejudice. After nearly a decade of being a magnet for such relentless bashing, the Druantia Staff and the Irish Board of Magical Education finally gave into the public’s pleads and announced Druantia would finally open its doors to those of muggle descent.

While a cheer of glee rose up from those cruelly titled “mudbloods” the Purebloods who gave them this label were outraged, mortified, and scandalized that the once proud and untainted halls of Druantia would be polluted by this sudden invasion.

Yet despite the Pureblood’s consistent shrieking and howling, the applause from the Wizarding Communtity overwhelmed them and in 2004, those of muggle ancestry from all over the world began to roam the beautiful lands of Druantia’s campus and receive the excellent education they felt they deserved.

But even though many of these new students quickly became fond of their new school as it is exceedingly luxurious and picturesque, the times they spent in the corridors were not easy nor were they fun. For the purebloods of the school, many of who had been attending Druantia for years, began to jeer and taunt the newcomers. Bullying, exchanging insults, and dueling became a nearly daily event as many fights broke out while tensions rose to what seemed an all time high. Sadly, the Professors of the school learned to turn a blind eye on such horrid behavior as they too were rather divided and so the student body gained control instead. Because of the Staff’s desertion, the Purebloods were able to continue on bullying and harassing while rest of the study body retaliated.

Yet while the Purebloods were victorious at times, during the first year and much of the second, they never managed to maintain any long term successes as of the will and strength of the newcomers was too strong. For nearly two years, these brave Muggle descendents managed to hold their heads up tall and proud, and took the attacks from the Pureblood without flinching.. yet that was about to change.

For towards the end of the muggle descendant’s second year at Druantia, they began to notice the assaults against them were different from what they were used to. For instead of receiving the usual random and scattered encounters they were accustom with, suddenly the Purebloods were launching attacks that were well thought out and quite brilliant in strategy. For awhile, the newcomers had no idea what exactly had occurred until a single, infamous name began to be whispered throughout all four of the houses: Tiernan O’Aodhan. For indeed, this young Morrigu year student was the source of this these strategic attacks as he had been working hard tirelessly for the last year and had finally assembled the Purebloods of the school together, forming an organization he referred to “The Purifiers” who’s solitary and driving goal was to wipe the muggle descendents from Druantia, and perhaps one day, all of the Wizarding World. Under Tiernan’s brilliant and cunning leadership, it seemed for awhile the Purifiers were fated to one day capture this objective.

Yet while chilling words of Tiernan’s plans and this great organization of Purebloods terrified many, the majority of muggle descendants were not about to be driven out of Druantia without a fight. From this collection of resolute students, a young girl named Aisling Baine emerged as the foremost opponent against Tiernan O’Aodhan as she skillfully rallied the muggle descendants along with pureblooded students who have welcomed the newcomers together and formed what she now refers to as “The Redeemers.”

With sides clearly drawn against each other and a once proud school utterly torn in half, violence has begun to overwhelm the halls of Druantia as the Purifiers launch attack after merciless attack and the Redeemers are forced to retaliate. And though it often seems impossible for them to defend themselves properly as the Pureblood force sometimes appears too strong and too overwhelming.. those of muggle descent, and many of the Pureblood students who have sided with them know they must continue to fight for what they believe is right. And so it seems a great burden has been placed upon the shoulders of these young students, for if Redeemers falter for one instance, or if they shun away from the enormous task of stopping the Purifiers, it appears many will have to pay a terrible price for their cowardice.
