Audio Promotion Thread, Pimp that stuff!

This thread is for sharing really good finds from the Audio Portal. It can be your stuff, someone else's, doesn't matter---just post some sweet beats.

Include a link to the track and the author, as well as a brief description of the song(s). Try to refrain from posting stuff from really popular artists like ParagonX9---it's the lesser-knowns that we want to advertise.

Of course, if a popular artist puts out something new, and it rocks, you're welcome to share it.

And review! Many of us are rather deficient in audio reviews---what kind of statwhores are we? Why, back in my day, FIF-TEEN YEARS AGO, they didn't show how many audio reviews you had! We had to walk FIF-TEEN miles in the SNOW to review stuff!

I can promise that I will review every single audio linked here---especially if it's something submitted by a fellow Barracks member. I recommend others do the same!


I'll start by recommending a relatively new artist, pickleman77, with an expertise in video game remixes. One of my favorites is the Twilight Princess mix, Ordonation. Nice and peppy.

Incidentally, I love that game.

There is this new artist named Jurian which is great. He can already make front-page posts because of his great songs.

My favourite one from him is Green, Piano. It got the best song of the week award, although we don't have a trophy for it. It's a great jazz song.

Damn, that is an awesome song. Very catchy. I ended up adding it to my favorites list before it was halfway done. :-D

You know, finding this kind of quality from a relatively new user makes ya wonder how many other audio masters we got in the Audio Portal. I hope they make an easy-to-read, easily-accessible archive of audio award-winners soon, along with more coverage of the AP in general...not all the talented people win awards.

In case anyone hasn't heard it yet, I highly recommend MaestroRage's audio track Newgrounds Spectrum. Very epic piece, made even more epic because it's about Newgrounds.
