Have a question? Ask away!

*****

Q: I see a stolen/malicious/unsuitable flash, and I'm sure that it breaks the rules! What do I do?
A: Flag it, report it in the EGB, and report the offending user at the Violations Reporting Desk.

Q: What if it passes anyway?
A: Whoever first reports it in the EGB is expected to follow up on it. Re-examine the evidence, and if you're still sure that it breaks the rules, PM Wade.

*****

Q: I found CP in the Flash Portal/Art Portal/BBS! What do I do?
A: Flag it and report it at the Violations Reporting Desk. Do not mention it in the Barracks---it only gives the sick fucks the attention they crave.

Q: What if it's still there a day later?
A: As with rulebreaking flash, the person who reported it at the Violations Reporting Desk is responsible for following up and PMing Wade.

*****

Q: I found an abusive review! What do I do?
A: Flag it. That's it. Just flag it. Don't inform the Barracks, don't try to get your buddies in on the "gold mine", just flag it and move on. If the abuse is extremely egregious---death threats, excessive links to outside sites, excessive spammy reviews, or attempts to steal an award through alt-reviewing---inform a review mod. I'd recommend our own Coop83.

Q: My whistle's been downgraded to Normal/Garbage! What happens now?
A: You fix it as soon as you can, but remember that you better be careful---an incorrect flagging hurts you a lot more than a correct flagging rewards you. If you downgrade to Normal, you'll merely be urged to power up. If you get to Garbage, and remain at Garbage for a long time, then we might have a problem. It depends on the circumstances.

*****

Q: What is the EGB rollcall?
A: The EGB rollcall is a biannual event in which the Chief Barracks Officer PM's everyone on the active roster, asking about their activity and whether or not they intend to remain in the EGB. Active members remain on the active roster; inactive members can choose to pledge to be more active or receive an honorable discharge; those who don't respond after a week are moved to the AWOL list.

Q: When is the rollcall performed?
A: The EGB rollcall is performed twice a year, on March 23 and September 23.

*****

Q: What happens during an officer evaluation?
A: The Chief Barracks Officer goes through the list of officers and determines whether a position is needed, and if it is, whether the current officer is adequately active and satisfactory for the position. New positions can also be created when needed.

Q: When are these evaluations held?
A: Typically one week after the EGB rollcalls---early April and October.
