So, guys what are your favorite sports videogames?
THis is pretty open-ended, it can be anything from Madden to Mario Kart. Mine's Punchout!!! for the NES. I still play it every chance I get, even though I know almost all of the patterns now. -------------------- Private Puddinn64

It would have to be Madden, but I haven't played it in such a long time. Resident Evil 5 has taken up most of my time, but there isn't much to do with that game anymore either. It was way too easy even on the hardest difficulty. Same thing with Madden too. I can put it up as hard as it goes, but still win 40 to 0 almost every time. The only time it's really fun is when playing against someone else.

Does car racing count as a sport? When I want a change of pace, I play a lot of the "Need for Speed" series (I have most of them). I like to drive fast IRL, but I know I can't outrun a cop or street race every punk I see. So, I get my aggressions out on the digital blacktop - and don't get too upset when I turn $200,000 worth of musclecar into a pile of firey trash.

Tough choice, while I love Mario Kart I don't feel like I can include that as a real sports game. Probably Pro Evo, particularly the new Wii versions with motion sensing controls. While the games are worse than on other consoles in terms of content and graphics, the control scheme more than makes up for it in my mind. There is nothing like stringing together a 4 or 5 pass move, playing a neat through ball through the middle to your rushing striker before neatly rounding the keeper and rolling it in!
Also Wii Sports. Seriously, considering it is virtually a free-bee with the console it is almost endlessly replayable. I still play the golf, tennis and bowling on a regular basis almost 2 years after getting it! -------------------- Relations Officer of the EGB

So, does anyone here like Wrestling games? How about Olympic games?

I don't mind wrestling games that much. I like the wrestling games where you can start a career, make money, and upgrade your character by upping their speed, strength, etc..
To be honest any game where you can level up I'll probably slightly enjoy. I just like leveling up for some reason. -------------------- It's not gay if it's with family. Then it's Jonas Brothers.
