My family watched this movie last Friday (9/5/08)
well.. actually we watched the "less intense" version even though the youngest kid in our family is 11 and 1/2 years old and oldest at home was 16
It was kinda funny cuz at the beginning, we was watching the original, then scary music starts and a guy gets shot w/arrow then we switched to less intense, AND IT WAS THE SAME lol i thought it was goofy, later in the movie, i could tell where they edited it out for young families, it looks uber scary and intense in the beginning, then it gets less intense and a lot funnier
Anyway, i liked it! i don't know if it's really a "LDS movies" but it was made by Chris Heimerdinger, the author of Tennis shoes among the Nephites, and it's basically about Book of Mormon history and other exciting stuff.
I hope you alls see it some time or other! ninja.gif biggrin.gif tongue.gif ninja.gif

No, see there's this guy named Chris Heimerdinger and he writes awesome lds books and Passage to Zarahemla is one of them. Its hard to explain how everything in the movie works, but it's not a sequel to the Book of Mormon or, in other words, its not the 2nd book of mormon movie biggrin.gif ninja.gif blink.gif

All the California sceens were filmed in St. George xD (Where I live) Everytime we pass the graveyard now I say to my mom "Hey! We're in California!" What was even funnier was when the scene came up when the 2 boys were at the theater EVERYONE in watching the movie started laughing because that was the same theater we were at watching the movie! tongue.gif It's really awesome =3
