Maplestory!

Is anybody watching the Maplestory animé?

I've seen the first two episodes and it doesn't seem that bad, much better than the Ragnarok Online adaptation.

The story goes like this.

X many years ago, the humans, archers, mages and warriors all worked together to create peace in the world. The source of this peace was something called the world tree. However a human destroyed the World Tree which broke apart Victoria Island. Now each village wants to gather the World Tree Seeds in order to enforce their distorted visions of peace. The story focusses around a character called Al, a human. His dream is to become an apprentice to one of the leaders of the villages, however, he is a human, the most hated race of all the villages so he must train in disguise in order to stop himself from being killed.

I'm afraid I'm only vaguely aware of this... I'll have to check it out. Where did you find it?

First heard about it on Sleepywood about a month or two ago where someone posted a link to the raw trailer on Youtube. You can find it on AnimeSuki, it's only being subbed by one group at the moment.

I heard it about longtime ago, my friends and I and Sin too, and we were discussing how it sucks because the graphics itself seems childish. I'm going to ckeck it out whether or not if is good or not!

Woo! I'm not sure if I'll be nearly as pleased as I was with the Ragnarok series, though. I mean... Maplestory? I'm skeptical, at best.

I didn't like the Ragnarok series, but so far I'm liking Maplestory. It will definitely put at least a smile on your face, I guarantee it.

Anyways, the anime is interesting, but not what I would rate 7-10/10

Rumors says the maplestory anime is weird and crappy (well childish maybe), but I agree, it isn't that bad. I would rate 8/10.

I couldn't sit through the opening. I just don't have much patience for that world, anymore. Especially when I have to deal with obscene gestures being broadcasted over megaphones...

Although, I do believe that it was confirmed that Dumbledore was gay, though I don't have the source at hand, sadly. It was just something I think I heard on the TV news, and from coworkers, etc.

Yes, J.K Rowling announced Dumbledore was gay. Here in the UK there was a guy on the news who has a rather big tattoo of Dumbledore on his back. I think he was rather gutted when she announced that.

If you ask me, it's a rather unimportant thing to announce as it doesn't contribute to the story in any possible way...

He's gay because he has a sexual attraction to males...

And he's not gay with anyone apparently. It's not really important as I said anyway haha.
