Since becoming the headmaster of Hogwarts Jared hadn’t had time to go round and appreciate the school for its actual beauty, he had changed this school for what he had hoped for the best. He looked through his mind at some of the students he had already met, some of them he could see going off and doing some great things, some he could see, doing great bad things, but Jared could only teach and provide shelter, he could not chooses what they wanted to become or what they want to do, that is messing with fate, and when you do that fate messes back.
So he decided that while the students were asleep he would go and have a wander through the familiar corridors of his old haunting grounds, and believe it or not Jared favourite place was the ground floor corridor.
The only reason was, he knew where all the secret entrances are and he could hide there to get away from the professors, he thought if these walls could talk there would be a song of history dispelled over the castle.
Jared walked to the most obvious place where a secret entrance could be, the only painting in the whole of the corridor, who ever thought of the security of the secret entrance wasn’t very smart was he.
Jared looked up to the painting and smiled he wasn’t going into the tunnels, not now, it would bring back memories, bad memories, so just standing here where him and his friends plotted there next joke was enough for now.
Looking up and down Jared thought that he would try a few spells out, no one was looking and he hadn’t had a good blow out in a very long time, and his mentor said it was very good for you to have a big spell fest every now and then.
With out taking out his want Jared started the little fest, letting his power creep out in a wave, if someone else was there it would probably almost choke them, Jared knew he was powerful but he never showed people he true power, if the were to happen Jared knew he would do something he would regret.
Jared started off with a few small bangs, you know the smoke and mirror kind of stuff.
Jared started getting into it and started to add little twists to the spells, making the smoke yellow and red, he stopped and the magic cessed, he was going to pretend to fight another person and if he was going to do that he would need a wand, then there it was in his hand, just like magic.
The person in the picture seamed to like it, he was clapping his hands and jumping up and down as though he had been just sitting there in centuries with nothing to do.
Shooting out some simple spells Jared started sparing with the other person, this other invisible and imaginary person, no people Jared is not insane, but the sight of what he was doing did look a bit insane.

Jared was dodging fake spells and firing real ones back, he was in his own little world and he was having fun in what seamed like a long time, Jared could feel that there was some one watching him, he new it because he could feel her emotions, yes he was a closet case he didn’t want any one to know that he had the power of empathy.
But knowing that she was there was better than turning around and hitting her with a spell right, she had done so much for the school that he didn’t want to do that to her.
She was basically the closest thing he has had to a friend in a very long time, He carried on firing spells at random some he had created and customised himself to some simple one.
He ignored her for a little while but couldn’t ignore her when she asked what he was doing, after shooting one last spell he turned and flashed her a smile, a sneaky smile.
“Practicing” was all he said he wasn’t one for chivalry,
Walking towards her Jared lent on the wall and summoned himself a bottle of water because beads of sweat had started to collect on his forehead, I need to work out more he thought as he felt his breathing fall back to normal.
Turning back to Misty, Jared used his empathy powers prodding her emotions to find out sadly that she was tired and warn out, ”you need a holiday” it was a simple sentence and a simple thing to say, but it was straight to the point and that is how he liked it.

Jared smiled, this was the first smile he had done in a long time, he quickly put his face back to blank again, he could help it, she was funny, but it wouldn’t have been funny if some one else said it.
The she went on about how she didn’t need to go on holiday, Jared could tell the she need a holiday for a fact but he wasn’t going to tell her that out loud.
When Jared was duelling an imaginary person Jared remembered a feeling coming from misty, something, but he couldn’t quite put his finger on it, as he thought Jared face screwed up into a frown, he concentrated on the emotions that Misty was showing now, it was envy she wanted to duel, she wanted to be alive again, not to be cooped up in an office.
The from dropped and twisted into a smile, Jared let go of the bottle of water that magically disappeared and turned to Misty and bowed his head, with out saying another word he turned took ten steps and turned back to face her, and with his wand out Jared got into his duelling stance hopping that she would understand what he was doing.
There were a few things running trough his head, how good was she, was she fast or was she good a powerful spells, he couldn’t tell but he was up for the challenge, he could tell that Misty was strong because of her strong emotions, and every one knows that the power of things comes from the emotions.
“Ready?” was all he said.

Jared smiled as misty go out her wand, he was not fighting an employer, he was fighting his friend and he was for the first time that felt like a long time, fun.
Jared looked at her, who was going to make the first move, well ok Jared had already made the first move, he was the sneaky one, he had already done a few spells, some to protect him and some to get her, the air was all of a sudden filled with magic as Jared sent his first array of spells at Misty, some to trick some to hit, and there was some that even were going to bind her body, he had hoped that she wasn’t rusty enough to get hit by the first spells, he wanted this fight to last, he wanted to have some fun with his friend.
Laughing a little Jared got read for the spells that were going to come back at hi, looking in her eyes Jared tried to predict what she was going to do, but this was harder than it was on the students, not that he was fighting students, though that sounded like a very good idea.

Jared felt Misty’s emotions change, she had retaliated, she was better than he thought, looking at her Jared smiled he was having fun.
Jared saw the first spell, he recognised it a disarming spell, Jared didn’t even try to block it he just side step it letting it hit the wall behind him. He new that it wasn’t very good of him to side step but he was playing teasing.
Jared didn’t see the next one which was very strange for him, he normally could sense the spells if they were invisible but this one was hard to detect and Jared had to quickly use protego to stop the spell from hitting him but the spell being so close Jared had to step back a bit to take the force of the spell to stop him falling over.
Smiling Jared went to send back a shower of his spells when he saw more spells head his way, but this was more that a spell it was a jinx, to be specific it was a leg locking jinx, now it was Jared time to play, catching the jinx on the tip of his wand Jared lassoed it back in the direction of Misty. He then sent her a transformation spell, he was going to transform her into a mouse, just for kicks.

Jared was watching misty with intensity he wanted to know her weakness but he just couldn’t find it like he could with other people.
He cheeked her emotions but there was nothing there to help, he checked her stance, she moved to much to see anything.
Then the spells came at him, first a jinx that came to fast for him to dodge and he got it full force, he was able to block the next jinx, he had wondered what had happened to him, he was waiting for his legs to lock or him to go blind but nothing happened, he laughed when nothing did until he felt something on his hear placing his hand on it Jared felt some liquid.
Jared laughed some more when he realized what jinx she had used, “very good” he said still laughing, using a spell to stop the jinx Jared turned his attention back to misty she was going to pay for that.
Jared lifted his wand and started to doing complicated wrist movements some of them to let of some weaker spells like the disarming spell and a leg locker spell, but he building up for a big spell, he was going to unleash a multiple explosion it was a spell his mentor taught him and he was willing to teach, this spell shot multiple spell out all over the place hitting everything, but it came in waves each wave stronger than the next.
He didn’t put to much power in there because 1 he didn’t want to hurt misty and 2 he still wanted this duel to go on.
With one final flick the spell was finished and the shower of spells started, the spells were all random, and different, they ranged from spells to curses.
Nothing that could hurt some one permantly. but it was a powerful spell but something Jared new that misty could just about handle, actually he knew that she could handle it, he was just showing off.

Jared watched Misty move back because of his explosion spell, this gave him time to find his weakness, but still with all this time he still couldn’t find one.
He then had an idea, why not just ask “ what is you weakness” he asked with a smile.
She then fired a spell at him, it was so simple he laughed at it, “Slacker” he teased, with a couple of twists and turns Jared shot a disarming spell at her, but right behind it Jared hid another disarming spell, to see if he could trick her, and then a couple of jinx’s that would lock her legs and maker her fall over, the same spell about 5 times all of them at different strengths.

Jared grinned ass his spells made there way towards her, his first one made no effect but the second made contact, he punched the air, which was strange for him, he was the quiet one. He was just so caught up in the fun.
He burst out in a fit of laughter as she hit the floor to find her wand, inching backwards to it, then she asked the question he was waiting for, “ ok then” he said with a sneaky smile on “ you say first and then I will tell you mine” he asked.
He then looked around for her wand, he couldn’t let her get to her wand, and then there is was, an inch from her hand, if she moved back just a little bit more she would have it, “accio wand” he said and it flip of the floor and into his awaiting hand. “don’t you know you need a wand to duel Misty Carter” he explained shacking her wand teasing her.
