American Idol Rewind, new interview w/E

I know this has another thread posted here but just a heads up. I wantched the first episode tonight and there are new interviews with the Top 10 of S5 including Elliott.He looks great. So I think the interview would be considered news. The first episode begins with a bit of the Top 10's audition.

I know it shows up on different Fox channels and on the TV Guide Channel as well.
Look for it, it's really fun. Don't miss the opening credits because Elliott is featured as well.

Thanks for the reminder. I was scrolling through the onscreen guide yesterday and was able to see the last 10 minutes or so of last night's episode. I know they get repeated many times on the TVGuide channel, but I find that channel annoying with the listings at the bottom of the screen. I searched this morning after seeing your post, and it will be on the CW channel tonight at 10 PM Central. I already have my DVR set.

Rats! I missed the first 15 minutes of the show yesterday because I got a phone call. Hopefully someone will post Elliott's moments on Youtube.

I did see Mandisa's interview and she looks FANTASTIC. I think it will be really fun to watch Rewind this season.

Elliott gets shown in the first ten minutes of the episode. They do an into to the Top 10 and then show an audition clip of E with a current interview. The interviews must have been done recently because Kat has blonde hair in hers.

Mandisa looks incredible. She must have lost 100 lbs. This is a fun season to watch because they all look great. They are all still doing what they love and the joy shows.

Mandisa looks so beautiful. Here's hoping that Elliott gets just as much (or more) facetime during the recap of the Boston auditions and then as he progresses through the show.

I can't wait to see it. I have my DVR set, and it picked up AI over the weekend, but they were all a special on Carrie Underwood. I was hoping to see it this weekend.........hope it will play soon!!!!

Tonight's was the Carrie Underwood thing.
I checked and it doesn't come on again here until Friday. It says that one is the Boston auditions.

I'm hoping the interview series w/ Elliott was larger and they broke it up in segments for the whole Rewind Season 5 series. I haven't ever watched. Is that what they do??

Yes, they will have different parts of the interview as the episodes progress. They showed a lot of the Mandisa interview in this particular episode.

My onscreen guide was wrong yesterday and CW showed the Carrie tribute instead of S5 as listed. That means I should be able to catch the entire segment next Sunday. For those of you who get the TVGuide Channel, the Chicago segment will be on this Friday and Saturday. It's all very confusing to me.

Me too. I did a search on my DVR, I recorded something last night, either Greensboro or Chicago auditions, can't remember. Haven't watched yet.

So were the auditions just on the TV Guide Channel? Or will the CW show the actual footage from the season? I pray that Season 5 is on the CW because I don't have the TV Guide Channel. Do you know how long I have been waiting for Season 5 to be televised again? Although I have all of Elliott's performances I still would like to see the shows with all of the contestants. I watched on CW on Saturday, and it was the tryouts for Season 5 - Chicago I think. I guess it just depends what part of the country you're in.

I think you are totally right on that. As I said upthread, I caught the last 10 minutes or so on CW on Saturday night. So I forwarded through the guide to see if it would be repeated and found it!! (NOT ) I read up on the CW channel and they only do fixed schedule programmin M-F. I don't know what Fox station it was on Saturday, but the Fox station which aired on CW on Sunday night was Clarksburg, WV (which is where one of my sisters lives--of no importance but I found it interesting ) If that is the station you get on Sunday night, then you're in luck as I'm fairly sure the Chicago segment will be next Sunday at 11 PM Eastern.

I was playing catch up last night on my DVR... watched 3, but no Elliott. Did my family delete them? or have they not been on for a few weeks?

It's been on every week since it started. There have been a total of 4 episodes so far. The only one with E in it was the very first one when they did a very short part of the interviews of the finalists.

Thanks to everyone who has posted information about this season's Idol Rewind. I am so excited about Season 5 - to re-live Elliott's journey again!!
I was disappointed the other day because my DVR was set to record the Denver auditions and instead I got an episode of "MICHAEL JACKSON" - I love Michael, but was looking for Idol Rewind!!! You can imagine.
I am recording all the Episodes just to make sure I get the episode I intend to get! I want them ALL!!!!!
