American Idol Rewind, new interview w/E

Thanks OFE. What an emotional time that was for Elliott.

Thank you, thank you OFE. That kind of brings back all the reasons why Elliott grabbed my attention in the first place. Voice of an angel, a huge heart, not afraid to show his feelings and the strength of character to stand up for himself and others in front of a egotistical bully. It's great to be able to see the new and old clips again.

OFE, thank you very much. Happy that I don't have to wait until Friday to see this. It brought tears to my eyes AGAIN.

HI Yall, OMG Elliott always makes everyone cry, but those are never ever tears of pain those are always tears of joy because Elliott always puts smiles on your face like YAMIN it!!!! I always cry when I see or hear Elliott or see him on TV because I'm soooo proud of our one and only Funky White Boy Elliott!!!! I'm soooo proud of everything Elliott has done and will do in his music career and I'm proud of all the Charitys hes helped!!!!

Thank you so much Mar! I think my TV and DVR are playing tricks on me; I can't find any recordings beyond the Boston ep and I've set up a series for both the Fox and TV Guide Channel broadcasts.

I finally got to watch the Hollywood week episode. It was terrific. The whole episode was very well produced. It was wonderful hearing E do the Rascal Flatts song. I also loved seeing Mandisa scold Simon. It was just a special season all around and Rewind is doing a good job with it.

This is one episode I wouldn't miss.

I can't believe they're skipping the semifinals. No MMFL and no Hemorhage by Daughtry. Taylor also had a break out moment. Some of the songs during semis are in the Top 10 of Idol forever. Maybe they'll fit MMFL in somewhere. So far they're doing a good job of recapping with lots of cool new stuff.

Thanks OFE. I missed the show this week, so I'm really grateful to be able to see the Elliott parts.

I know - I'm bummed they're not doing the semi finals as well because I didn't get to see them that year - didn't come in until just before the top 12. Possibly it was cut to make room for the Chris Daughtry episode - they've never done an episode on just one contestant before so that might change their time line and standard procedure. Hopefully they will put some of those early clips in somewhere - I'm kind of curios as to how Kevin Covais beat out some of the other folks!

That was a great one, blossom - thank you. He was so excited to have happened upon Rewind and was able to record it. Now he can watch it anytime he wants to remind himself how far he has come.

And to all of you who expressed appreciation for the video, you are most welcome. This week (Top 12) will be Stevie Wonder week and I'm hoping that Elliott gets some footage that we haven't seen before. I'll try to capture it again, but how successful I'll be is yet to be determined.

I've been meaning to make a couple of comments about Hollywood week, so here goes:

Did anyone else find it curious that Pickler just happened to show up while Terrell was on a rant? I really enjoyed her little interjection about "You may have to call the police" but I can't help but wonder how much of it and the whole blowup was staged.

When I watched the clip with Randy saying Elliott was the best of them, the applause from the audience was much larger than the applause when the group finished (or was stopped). I have a feeling Elliott impressed a lot of people that week.

HI Yall, I know Elliott is indeeded to American Idol and always has nothing but great things to say about American Idol. You know if it wasn't for American Idol getting Elliott's feet in the door I don't know if Elliott would be in the Music business or not. I know Elliott always thinks about what American Idol do for him!!!! Thank you very much Mama Yamin for having a great son with a great voice & thank you very much American Idol for helping Elliott get his feet in the door to a great music career!!!!
