Title: MYA

I need a second job. And probably a third.
Check
this if you're mentally stable.

I visualise myself begging penniless on the streets of Edinburgh. But instead of the inevitable sad looking dog, lying beside me under a blanket with just the front panel showing, will be a desperately hungry Panasonic.
Nice one MYA.

And numerous copies of dodgy seventies Italian films.
Wow, an impressive list.

I'm impressed! I've seen maybe thirty-thirty five of these, mostly during the spell when I was watching any old Italian thing that popped up on TV broadcast over the net. There are a few minor classics mixed in with plenty that will hit a pleasure spot or two for the hopelessly addicted, but maybe cause undue pain to significant others!
For what it's worth, the title of LA BOLOGNESE (a soft core of modest worth, which I happened to see in a grubby theater when it was new), is a play on words, meaning both a resident of Bologna and a sexual act (or performer thereof) associated with that city...

Don't make us imagine, James!! How do you "bolognese?"
mattblake - March 24, 2009 08:30 AM (GMT)
Spaghetti will never be the same!

Realistically, if even 1/4th of these titles make it into print, it'll be a miracle. If you have time, check out the interview on the blog linked below, as it finally answers the "who is MYA" question?
Alison M - March 24, 2009 01:02 PM (GMT)
Bill, don't know if I'm being blind, but where is the link?
Edit:
Aha!
C., James C. - March 24, 2009 04:32 PM (GMT)
Thanks for the link. The list of releases does seem awfully ambitious, but, who knows? Perhaps No Frills will replace No Shame.
As to Bolognese, a little free associating should solve the question. Bolognese sauce is made of meat. Imagine a pretty girl eating Bolognese-d strands of spaghetti sensually, mouth full as she.... That's far enough, or too far :o B)

I certainly hope so ! - now I've landed a Permanent F/T job - after 18 months of being on lower paid contract work - I can see where some of my hard earned shekels/grotzits will be going ;)
Will have to give this list a fuller perusal - but 1 title leapt out at me - Interrabang which from the title alone I've been intrigued by for years - hope they take off & will continue to release the more obscure titles - can I make a plea for A Rather Complicated Girl ?

Brilliant list!
I'll cast my vote for the 1969 version of Il Complotto - been wanting to see this for years now.
