[Due to the huge number of spam we've been receiving on the board recently, I'm afraid I've had to introduce admin validation for new registrants. What should happen is that when you try to register, I then approve you and then you'll be able to post to the board. However, sometimes I do accidently refuse permission, mainly because it's sometimes a bit difficult to distinguish spam from non-spam. So it's also a good idea to also send me an email as well. Sorry for the trouble, but it can't be helped... ]

According to ibs.it, ULISSES is being released as a "Versione alternativa":

http://www.ibs.it/dvd/8033650553765/kirk-d...ana/ulisse.html

Does that mean it really was shot in 3D, and they're now releasing the right-eye image, rather than the left?
Or does it mean it was shot twice; once in an International English version, and once in an Italian version?
Or is it a different cut?

Does anyone know, or is it my job to find out?

You can find a detailed report on the difference between the German (International?) and the Italian version at schnittberichte.com

But sorry it's german. There are many screenshots showing that difference between the two versions. Italian version is not only a different cut there are at least 5 alternative scenes.
