The Human Intelligence Conservation Club is the school name for the small-time organization known as SYNAPSE. Although established as a freelance agency that takes on any job, whether big or small, the organization mainly deals in handling information of all types. Usually, it involves the secure transfer of confidential information through various forms of media or other outlets. However, they still accept menial jobs that other people could do like private investigations or searching for lost items.

Even though they are a business, they accept other forms of payment besides money which makes them popular among the locals. Also, since they have a club at the local high school, they are quickly gaining a reputation as a reliable resource among teens.

While I say they accept any job, they keep it within legal limits. They do not kill.

They also have their own website which can be used to request jobs, display their current schedule, show member bios, but most importantly, they have a brochure of merchandise they seem to collect. Their products range greatly from fresh fruits and vegetables to very valuable artifacts. In a sense, they sell anything and everything thanks to their many connections. They store all of these items in a private dock at the Pier.

Since the collapse of the original SYNAPSE which had it's headquarters in USA, the newly re-established organization has gone through a drastic change in personnel. Before, they employed trained spies and other specialists to deal their business. Now, they employ the crafty and sly skills of teens to get the jobs done. Of the seven current members, only two of them are adults. The other five attend Shimekiri High School and are a part of the HIC Club.

The most probable reason for the success of SYNAPSE up to this point would be their leader, a man known as Danom (but most people call him Boss). His connections to many different people and organizations has kept the young group in business.
