Sugar we're going down...

[Asteria Tiernay]

Queen had led her to the piers...she could hear the soft water lapping against the wood of the docks, buoys bouncing up and down with the waves that the ships out a ways pushed into the otherwise still waters. Her sage eyes glanced about and finding no good place to sit, she moved to the end of the pier and dipped her legs of the side, allowing the cool water to work its way in and out of the opening sandals that were secured to her feet.

The light breeze whipped at her oddly pink/white colored hair though the gold clips held the long wisps in place relatively well. Her hands ran across the zippo that lay in her palm that clicked every time she flicked it open and closed though she never actually made a move to light the device.

"So what are we doing here anyway?" she asked aloud though she knew she didn't actually have to speak allowed to talk to Queen. The response she received wasn't aloud but the voice in her head was decidedly a bit darker than the voice she spoke with now, "Meeting up with someone very important..." Queen said in her mind and she didn't bother asking who, she would find out soon enough. Casting her eyes back to the water she let silence fall over them, the only sounds the lapping of the water and the gentle inhale and exhale of her own breath.

A beautiful day for a stroll. Or rather, a beautiful day for a boatride. The quiet and serene air that surrounded the girl gradually began to fade as a buzzing sound grew louder and louder. A motorboat, or rather a runabout; coming from over the horizen as it cut through the waves elegantly, shifting in a zig-zag pattern while making its way to the pier. It wouldn't be long until it would be at its destination and close enough for its driver to be visible.

A minute had gone by and the boat was now within fifty meters of the girl's location. With near effortless wrist movement, its driver turned the steering wheel. Pulling down on the throttle and showing expert driving skill, the motorboat was now "drifting", sailing across the water's surface with its right side appearing bigger and bigger as it neared the side of the pier. No longer was the boat moving with its bow facing forward, but its right side was in the direction of "forward".

Even with the bizzare look of things, the boat slowed to a stop just before it would even scratch the pier, parked right in front of the girl. Sitting there in the driver's seat was but a young and thin man. Though his medium-length black hair fell in front of his face, further concealing his eyes along with his sunglasses, he could still see just fine. Removing his shades as he turned towards the girl, a smile formed on his face, his green eyes setting themselves upon the girl before him.

"It's been too long since I've laid my eyes on you, Asteria."

Motioning to the seat beside him in his boat, Tenjin tilted his head towards the open sea. "You're not opposed to us having our chat out there, are you? I personally would rather avoid having to deal with some of the people that happen to be in this city." With a sigh, he smiled at Asteria once again.

Asteria turned her eyes up as a different sound cut through the otherwise peaceful surroundings. It started as a light hum before it began to grow in intensity. She could feel Queen smirk as she made out the form and Asteria knew that this was who she was waiting for. She ran her eyes up and down the form that sat in the boat and she felt another smirk but this one was of a girl who just got caught checking out a boy rather than of recognition. A small crimson smear appeared on either of her cheeks but it quickly disappeared as the young man spoke her name. She wished she knew his name and in the back of her mind Queen wispered as though she would be heard, "Tenjin Musha".

Smiling back, Asteria rose and stepped across into the boat, "Tenjin, I wish I could say that we've met but unfortunately Queen is the only one that has had the pleasure to meet you." Asteria said delicately allowing a smile to cross her features. The look she had now was most likely different than when Queen was in charge. Her features were softer, more delicate and less crazed then when Queen was in control but none the less they both were an attractive pair having the perfect body proportions that every man dreamed of and the perfect mind that any bad ass would love.

"Well then, it's a pleasure to meet you now." Tenjin smiled, firmly gripped onto the steering wheel. Allowing Asteria the time to get settled in and buckle up, he then gradually poured on the gas, turning the boat out as he began to speed off away, taking them away from the mainland. One hand on the steering wheel and the other on the throttle, his eyes seemed to sparkle as he looked on at the beautiful sea before him.

And then his eyes moved to yet another beautiful sight, the woman at his side. She definately wasn't the exact same girl as the Jin'ei he had come to know known simply as Queen. She was a lot more tame and sane. That of course, wasn't a problem. For Tenjin, in addition to beauty and intelligence, what he desired in the women he went after above all else was strength. Strength of heart... Strength of will... And all that other jazz. That was more to his tastes.

Closing in on a preferable distance away from the pier so no one could possibly annoy him, he began to slow the boat down. "So, how have you two been since we last met?"

Asteria allowed her eyes to cast across the ocean when Tenjin didn't seem to want to talk until they were a good distance away. She watched the sea lap against the boat though she found her eyes moving back towards Tenjin expectantly. When he pulled back on the throttle she moved her eyes to the water once again until he spoke to her. "We've been well. I'm glad to have my body back to say the least and I can't say that I hate what I, what we've become..." she said.

A quick ocean breeze blew a strand of hair from its clip and she quickly moved to restrain it once again. Picking the lighter back up that lay in her lap she flicked it open before glancing at Tenjin again, "So tell me, who do we go after first?" she asked. She couldn't fight the new feelings inside of her, the need to kill, the need to feed, the overall need to just make some kind of trouble. The fact that she knew he kind was being targeted by some group of goodie two shoes made her want to target them, sink her fangs deep into the throat of that group and hold on until they either suffocated or bled out.

Queen reveled in the thoughts that ran through her tamer counter parts head. Perhaps that was the reason the two got along so well. Despite their differences, the two could be quite alike at times.

"That's good to hear." Tenjin replied softly, running a hand through his hair lightly. Hearing her question, he leaned back a bit in his seat, staring up into the clear blue sky, seagulls gliding above. Who were they to go after? There were so many prospective options. Shuuryou City was rather large, afterall. But of course, as of late, no group seemed to catch Tenjin's eye more than Libra.

"They're all fodder, really. The only ones that could possibly provide any entertainment would be Libra, as I'm sure you're aware of them." Turning his head back towards Asteria, he gently placed his hand on her shoulder. "I'm sure you're aware already.. But considering your current situation and that group's members.. It wouldn't be wise to go at them when in human form."

His eyes slowly trailing down Asteria's body, moving down the side of her face to her neck, slowing on her chest, and then managing to continue on down, Tenjin took a lustful sigh. "And above all else... Try not to kill my brother. I'd hate to have to claim a potentially strong Persona and have to do all the work in making it strong. Other than that, you can go wild."

"Libra, I figured as much and it is hard to not be aware of them when we all roam the same school." she felt the warmth of his hand on her shoulder and even though he spoke of death, his hand was a comfort. Maybe it was his presence or maybe it was the fact that he talked about death...who knew? Asteria allowed a smirk to cross her face at the mention of his brother and she nodded her head lightly, "I'll be sure to keep your brother in mind...worse comes to worse...I may have to rough him up a little bit if he gets in the way...." she said allowing her voice to trail off a bit. "But as long as I take care of it and not Queen, he should still be alive." she said and she could hear Queen scoff at the back of her mind. "I have some self control thank you very much" she said.

She hoped nothing she said would offend him, she knew how siblings could be about other siblings. She had some of her own at once though she didn't know what had happened to them, if what had taken over her had done the same to them or if they had even recovered from it as she had done. Perhaps when she was done she would seek her older sister out...

"I'll try and avoid them in school, perhaps catch them a bit off guard when they go on their little nightly hunts..." she said, her eyes glossing over a little bit with the thought of what she could do.

"There's no need to avoid them at school. That would just raise suspicion. And of course, considering I've murdered someone precious to the majority of Libra's members at least, I'd say they are a paranoid bunch." he laughed, his eyes making their way back up Asteria's form. "It's good to know that my brother's fate is in such capable hands..." Tenjin's smile didn't fade, his eyes now fixed on her's, his hand moving and lightly brushing a strand or two of her hair that had fallen in front of her face.

"..But who knows? He might even surprise you. Considering he's of my flesh and blood, I look forward to your report." Oh yes. He was alone with a young woman in a boat at sea. That idea was of course, swimming around in Tenjin's mind alright. Even so, would he do it? Afterall, the question of what to do next was surely to come.

Truthfully, he wished to see what she would do. How would she react to this situation? Act completely oblivious? Hard-to-get? Or be straightforward and screw the awkward silence that might follow? Internally, Tenjin was a little kid who lost his first tooth, eagerly awaiting his present from the Tooth Faerie. The question was; what would be his present?

Asteria allowed a smile to caress her features as he brushed away a couple strands of hair that had fallen across her face. This man was her boss wasn't he? She was never the child to follow rules, she always got beat for doing that too so why follow them when you still got punished? Was it awkward for him knowing that there were two of them right now watching his every move? Was he even aware that they could both be conscious and not like some where only one personality could dominate.

If Queen was at the helm she would most likely have jumped him right there. Had she already done so while Asteria was lost in whatever abyss she had fallen in? So many questions ran through he mind and in a second she decided to throw it all away. This was a new life and she was no longer even human. He look might have suggested otherwise but she was a shadow while he still held on to his humanity while wielding this odd power, perhaps he would make her feel whole....

Leaning forwards she allowed her lips to brush across his, not too long, but not too short. Drawing away she allowed her oddly colored green eyes to look into his, a girlish smile caressing her features. She wanted to say something but everything seemed so cheesy in her mind and would most likely sound ever worse out loud.

Tenjin, the big bad boss... and his subordinate? Wasn't that against some sort of Code of Conduct? Like hell it was! He made the rules, and that's just the way things were. Moreso than that, no one was going to find out anyway; the two were in a boat in the middle of nowhere. And if someone did find out? Well whatever. She was legal, so he was safe there too. He'd have to laugh at some lawyer when he returned...

As her lips touched his, he wondered... Just who was in control now? Was it still the polite and kind-natured Asteria or her violent and battle-loving alter ego? Either way, this man had no preference, for he would gladly take either of them. Watching her as she slowly pulled away, he smiled his same smile yet again.

His eyes locked onto Asteria, he carefully removed his seatbelt and leaned forward a bit. His nose just barely pressing against hers as he stared into her eyes. "We never formally introduced ourselves.. Did we?" Tenjin whispered. Yep. He had been eating peppermint gum... Or at least one of them had, as he could smell it on one of their breaths.

"I'm Tenjin Musha. The new ruler of this world. And you are...?"

Asteria held her smile as he leaned closer to her, she could feel Queen pressing against he mind, willing herself closer to where the action was undoubtedly going to be but Asteria shoved back. This wasn't something she would back down on because if she new her counterpart, she would have time as well. "and I'm Asteria Tiernay, your Empress..." she said trailing off. Surely he knew her arcana by now but come on, that was pretty clever, right?

She was tempted to swallow the gum that she had in her mouth. She had been chewing it out of boredom on the pier and she was glad she had eaten it but now it was just in the way but she couldn't just turn and spit it out into the ocean so she swallowed delicately, discreetly before returning to the "important business" at hand.

~Later~
The boat pulled back to the pier and just as she had entered, Asteria delicately removed herself from the boat, allowing her hands to trace across her skull and replace the clips that had been so neatly placed. Trailing to her inner thigh she allowed her fingers to replace the various knives that were hidden there before looking back into the boat and smirking.

Unlike Asteria, who had took the liberty of getting dressed again before arriving back at the pier, Tenjin did no such thing. He made no real strides to put his clothes on again aside from his boxers. In fact, by the time they were back, he was simply wearing his shirt unbuttoned and his boxers, while the rest of his clothes were at his feet. He wasn't going ashore, so why bother?

Grinning back at Asteria, he ran his hand through his hair. "Unlike other jerks, this jerk will actually call you later." With a bit of a laugh, he put on his sunglasses once more. "And reversely, I expect you to call me if you run into trouble, hmm darling?"

Asteria reached and pulled out a cellphone and wiggled it around a bit, "I will be most sure to do that..." she said smirking as she looked down at the partially clothed Tenjin in the boat. Today was Saturday so she wouldn't be back to the school until Monday so school wouldn't be any issue until then. Tonight though and most definitely Sunday she would be out, in her true form on the prowl for any little libra brats that she could find. It had been too long since she had fed on anything good....hopefully she would be able to fulfill her blood lust with something that could further their goals...

[Hanshin]

"Well then.. I hope you have fun." Nodding, Tenjin turned on the engine once again. Revving it up a bit, he waved back towards Asteria before speeding off in his boat once more. If he didn't have meetings, he would have enjoyed a prowl around town.. But eh. Duty calls.
