*sigh* yes we know it's tough to come up with new plots. And yes we all do love these characters...but come ON! Pitor died for a reason, and bringing him back cheatens that whole plot and makes it pointless. IT's the same for numerous other characters. I wish they'd leave well enough alone. Don't go killing off ppl willy nilly and then going "SHIT I didn't MEAN to kill them off. Guess we'll have some magic pill bring them back to life!" GEEEEEZZZZZZZ.

And Scott and Emma...makes me ILL. I can't STAND it! I can't read any of the new stuff. Espically after what they did to my Kurt, and of course that TJ randomly joining the brotherhood thing for NO REASON. Yeah, so she just randomly decided to spy on them or whatever? I don't think so! All I know is that now aparently Kurt is with......*dies* Ororo (Storm) They did that just because of quasi intrest in the movie version. IT is so wrong, at least to me. OF course I read Nightcrawler's title, but...I try my best to ignore Ororo in it. I think the writer of that one had to put it in because in regular continuity (616) that's the way it is. *sigh* maybe I should write for marvel...then things can go MY way. Which is of course the BEST way. .......I'm joking by the way. GEEEEZ I am not that arrogant. >_^

I think Fans would write good stories. Fans tend to be anal about every aspect of each character and not just have an idea like the "real" writers.


And why on god's green earth is Hank a cat person? I Got the PlanetX arc on NXM so I could figure out what was going on .. blegh Cat hank. And Psycho Magneto. It was so horrible they had to go back and just claim it wasn't him Just because people were so pissed off.

I do read them all, just about and I do have to say that Marvel really is something else now. Nothing compared to when I started reading in the early and mid nineties. Sometimes I wonder why I came back, considering I only started to collect again for the past 2 years and I have a lot and I'd rather read all the old stuff than all the new stuff, cuz the new stuff seems soooo commercialized.

And yeah, Skin and Synch will probably stay dead, specially cuz they hardly ever mention them, I loved Gen X though...

Yes, I too dislike that they made Beast look like cat b/c it was a stupid plot twist (secondary mutationts? puh-lease. I mean, great, now Emma can turn into diamond too...whatever) BUT I do like the character design. I prefer the 2nd Beast character design (the first being the one where he wasn't blue) but the 3rd Morrison-Cat Beast also looks cool, just one problem with that design, it's NOT Beast. It just doesn't fit him. Looks cool, but not Hankie-poo, sorry.

*odd bouncing* I really don't fit in this convo, and I can't counter a lot that was said. So I shall deposit two cents and go chew up somebody's shoes for a while:

I don't have much of a problem with Emma and Cyke together because I just honestly don't like either of them all that much. I do however, detest that Jean Grey is coming back, especially since she was supposed to stay dead the first time she died. However, that can be disputed, since I have no problem with the fact that Claremont came back to de-bastardize Magneto.

On that note, I hope Morrison dies for what he did to the character. Not to mention Polaris and her whole relation to Mags, even if that was discounted a long time ago. I don't accept anything he wrote as canon, and I never will.

Oh, and much blams toward X-23. Nothing fills me with more twitchy-doom.
