Hello mate and welcome. This is a good place to come for anything related to the FUD server. The flash name thing is effective at the end of the map only but doesn't work on SD or RE game types. Its done by creating a config file that simply changes your name a lot of times, then execute it. If you bring diwn the console you will see the name changes. So, create a text file called "Name.cfg" then have entries like this:
The above code making what looks like a red line zip forward through your name (being "Hello") and then returning back. Once you have your .cfg file just the way you want it, bind a key to execute it, like this:
I suggest you test it offline though. Just create a server on your PC. It annoys people when others execute their name change configs as it scrolls up the screen when not at the end of map scoreboard. No point it getting kicked out of the server for being a pest Hope all that makes sense. I'd spend longer on it, but I'm away out tonight to see a belly dancer on a boat on the Nile Cheers. -------------------- |

Thats just what I was saying not to do Red The way to do it without peeing everyone off is to create a local server on your PC then press tab to see the scoreboard and execute it from a key bind (so you can get it just right) then join the server and wait until the end of map score board screen before executing it Cheers -------------------- |

As Dewed said, testing at home is the only acceptable option. You don't have to wait for the end of the game tho. Put the file in your UO folder. Bind a key to execute your file:
Eg: Bind L exec myfilename Start a server at home, then whilst ingame, press and hold whichever key you have assigned to display the Scoreboard, and then press the key that executes your script, 'L' in the example above. Be advised though that the constant name changing produces a heavy load on the server. If you have included different wait timings in your script, the results could be very different on a busy server than those experienced at home on your own. Run the game in a window (ALT-ENTER) before you start the server, and you won't even have to exit the game to alter the script after testing. -------------------- |
