*sighs*

I still have a browser window open on jeantre's story I was reading this morning on the site. I don't want to refresh it because I know it won't reload when I do.

Goodbye, Fanlib!

Aww, Daring, that's so sweet!!

I was THERE on Fanlib until the very last post on the PARTY forum. *sigh* It almost felt like it wouldn't end. It even went a bit past the hour, but alas, the site went down.

So, like a good writer, I set to work on an obit for Fanlib. You can read it here:

Same here. Or rather - I didn't see the point in cancelling my account at Fanlib.

Normally, I wouldn't bother, but it was my way of saying goodbye. Like making one last tour of your old house after you've cleared out all the stray boxes and cleaned out every corner. This was a move of the internet kind, and closing my account was like locking my front door for the last time, knowing I'll never come back and use my lovingly tarnished brass key again.

I stayed logged in until the bitter end, though somehow I missed Jo ban-worthy smilies.

I couldn't even do that in my old house! laugh.gif I was bawling. I didn't want to see it empty and yet, I still did. It was so hard!
