Title: Format Change!

Jalyss - March 27, 2009 11:43 PM (GMT)
Sick of the last two years? So are we!

We're moving to wednesdays and changing our format!

New Characters!
New Plots!

And most importantly, No more Squirrels! (That is just way too played out)

See you there!

James StarRunner - March 28, 2009 12:44 AM (GMT)
Gasp! Not the squirrels!

It actually doesn't matter to me much. The comic is funny enough without evil squirrels. They aren't even evil, just misunderstood. :3

And new plots? Was there a plot to begin with? :P

Curious to see who the new characters are though.

Indeed. I have not seen hair like that on an alien since 1988.

GerMad - March 28, 2009 07:26 PM (GMT)
Fox also needs a new hair style :D

"Hello I´m Fox and i´m playing a fox mohawk"

Mrs Wizzard - March 28, 2009 09:30 PM (GMT)
but, the comic's fine the way it is, I love the random evil squirrels, it's always made me laugh when I was feeling down, the new plots would be cool, but the complete randomness is what makes me love it so much :o

yeah, some changes would be cool, but don't go too far changing something that's already great

Kuroshiro448 - March 28, 2009 10:18 PM (GMT)
AHH massive change!! Run for the hills!

Also, Are you going to change the banner too?

Cameron - March 28, 2009 11:58 PM (GMT)
I agree with the change. You don't have one webcomic; you have two. You've split it into Jalyss's satire and logic-based humor and fox's quirky randomness. The two are nothing alike.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great comic. I just think if you worked together on strips instead of working seperately I think you would come up with a much stronger comic. Your differences can blend well if you integrate them.

Also, Jalyss Dislikes Things is awesome.

I like the new hairstyle, though.

It seems Jalyss has taken Foxs' coat.

Hey, I like the look too. Just reminds me of something right out of the 80s though. Even I rocked a mullet back then! Even came with a rat tail to complete my white trash look.

But will there still be mad science? TELL ME THERE WILL STILL BE MAD SCIENCE!!

HentMas - March 30, 2009 05:35 PM (GMT)

It's strange... I am sure there was another post after this last one... I read it yesterday

Maybe I slept till yesterday?
Maybe the changes include an autoritative evil dictatorship where we will be slaves used to fuel the comic and where there's no room for an opinion against the magnanimous all-powerfull and incredibly smart beloved leaders?

Or maybe I was reading another topic.

Anyways, nice. Changes are always good, even when they seem bad at first.

I'm not sure what to think yet, I'll just have to see how everything plays out. I thought the squirrels and Michael Bay things were funny, but I'll agree, they were a little played out. Jalyss being a little happier with life will be a good addition I think, and whereas I liked Fox's silliness, I'm sure that the one that Fox is based after will appreciate being able to contribute a little more to the comic than just randomness.
But no more Eden? That actually makes me sad =(.

[EDIT] Okay, now I feel dumb lol. The worst part is that I actually was able to catch most of the April Fools day stuff today on other webcomics/sites/etc. but somehow I bought this one hook, line, and sinker. Well played. Well played indeed.

That makes me wonder, why, when, how did this april stuff started?

HentMas - April 1, 2009 11:04 PM (GMT)
this is so weird... its just a joke?? no more april!?!?!? WHAT IS GOING ON!!!!!

Kashandi - April 2, 2009 04:14 AM (GMT)
I miss the labcoat. its interesting to see jalyss happy (even for just a day) but the new expressions and their necks just seem less inviting. either way the creators should be able to express themselves freely i'm sure we will love it all the same.

Cameron - April 2, 2009 05:41 AM (GMT)
In regards to my earlier comments, attempting to remove foot from mouth now.

Nirny42 - April 2, 2009 04:16 PM (GMT)

The French New Year used to happen on April 1st. When they switched to the modern Gregorean calendar, a bunch of people forgot about the new date for New Years and everyone else made fun of them.

Don't you mean the Julian calendar? Gaul was a Roman province for hundreds of years before the Gregorian calendar existed.

Probably. I don't know.

I'm more of a worthless-trivia guy than a history guy.
