Have you tried searching Twitter at all? We know he/she/it goes by Rae, Fox Bruner, Jalyss Barclay, and Tempestryder. If there's no account associated with those names, I'd say she doesn't. Besides, she doesn't seem like the type who would anyways.

I think that's more of a preference than a minimum cost, since Newegg has several scanners that are between a third and two-thirds of $150.

I ordered one of these, since it's known to work with SANE, the scanner software most often used with Linux. It works terribly with SANE, and I have to use Windows 7 with it anyway, and since I didn't notice that it's a photo scanner and not a document scanner I have to use a sheet of glossy photo paper as a backing whenever I scan.

I guess the price of the scanner would have to do with what quality of scanner you want.

I guess I'll just come out with it:

Right now money is not the problem. I do have a working scanner. The problem is I've been on a new medication recently which has a very unfortunate side effect of causing bad drowsiness. As a result, I've been sleeping upwards of 14 hours a day. It's very inconvenient, but the benefits of this particular medication are currently far-outweighing this downside. This medication is something I really need to take. In the mean time though, it's left me precious little time to get to drawing. I'd really like to continue Dissonance, but I just don't have it in me at the moment.

Well, that's a very unexpected revelation.
I probably won't be the only one to say this, but as a loyal fan I would love to offer support to you in any way I can. (hopefully I've worded that correctly)

I don't think she thought much of the fanart comic I sent, even though she said she'd put it up around two or three months ago.

It's more likely a victim of Rae's recent medicinal lethargy.

I had thought I put up every guest comic I was sent, if I missed yours I'm very sorry. If you send it again I can try to correct the situation.

I'm wondering if your still planning to continue the comic later on. I get doubtful of more updates when something goes wrong on webcomics...

I wholeheartedly plan to resume comic production soon. Things are clearing up in my life and I really miss updating my comic.

Fantastic!!!! Glad to hear it!!! You had some great ideas and I was sorry to see your comics come to a halt. I was just about ready to delete Faulty Logic/Dissonance from my bookmarks, figuring that they had reached a dead end. Instead, I will eagerly await the next installment.

Good to hear! In order to keep from losing readers over the holiday season though, it may be a good idea to post some bit of news about the comic's possible return on the dissonance homepage. Those who may check the site once in a while but do not visit these forums have not heard from you in over two and a half months.

I know that the current update schedule is patchy and not determined yet, but do you know what the format will be, like the single or double layer?
