Borderlands?
Pros: Awesome, 87 bazillion+ guns, Action skillz, 4 classes, class mods, etc.
Cons:...............Level 50 limit, nothing else.
This poll might be a little biased, but this is a really fun game. If you haven't played it, GET IT!
Also, it now has down-loadable content featuring ZOMBIES and Dr. Ze... uh I mean
Dr. "Ned".

It's fun and adictive. So much loot.... (I recently received 20,000 exp for opening 5000 lootable objects)
A bit like Mass Effect tilted more shooter than RPG. There are no real role-play elements, but there are quests, skill trees, and, as Drak says, shit-loads of weapons.
It's gotta be the most engaging single-player shooter I've played in a while. Not better than ODST, but with shit-tons more replay value.

I have only gotten in about 6 hours of playtime, but it is ok so far. I just wish the AI was a bit more complex. It has difficulty navigating terrain, the points at which enemies take cover is largely predetermined, raiders seem to stick to sending one person charging at a time while the rest stay behind cover making it obvious who to shoot...
It so far seems like Diablo as a FPS and without the randomly generated terrain. I am sure it will be a lot more fun once I try the multiplayer, though.
