It took me a while to decide the winner of the Forum Contest but the more I pondered on it, the clearer my choice became. This person has been with the forum since the very beginning and even weathered my health scare and lack of updates almost a year ago. he always comes to the forum with constructive and well thought out posts, and is always willing to discuss topics intellectually. He's been one of my most dedicated fans, and I'm happy to say he's the winner of a comic cameo.

I really am grateful, but I have always been here. Your contest was to attract new people to this forum. This prize really should go to one of the newer members.

Wonderdummy and Goats Kordatar were both quite active, and Kawashiro started more conversations than anyone I can think of despite having only a few posts. And I am quite sure any of them would appreciate the cameo given their timing in joining this forum.

Give it to him anyway. Any newbies who were inclined to gripe had six hours to do so before he refused, and several days since to agree with him-I'm sure somebody would've said something if there was any objection to an old fart getting the cameo.

But there was an objection to an old fart getting the cameo. By me. The old fart. The prize going to a new forum member is much more inline with the contest's intent. And they likely want it more than I do since it is part of what drew them here.
