And we're back, sorry about the delay. But it's a double sized update today to try to make up for it.

I think that would be my reaction to Lazamouse too. Glad to see the rodent made another appearance. I am not sure if it is him or Pandora I find more curious right now.

Holy crap! It's an update! And not a filler or a promo for another comic or a non-canon april fools' joke!

I know my updating has been a little lax the last month, I intend to correct that moving forward. I'm all done school for now so there's little to distract me from my obligation to you guys. Hopefully I'll be able to get myself back into the routine of two updates a week.

I'm going to go with some sort of healing ability in her saliva. She licked the wounds, and they are suddenly better.

If we are going for pure speculation, I am going with the most boring possibility. The rodent's injuries were simply not as bad as James thought. I think a broken spine is often survivable, but probably not something anything should run around with. Anyway, I do hope the exam went well.

Dissonance is up!

This is what I meant when I said I thought I overplayed my hand. The little mousie cliffhanger wasn't supposed to get you CERTAIN there was something supernatural going on.

Of course, maybe there is...

But maybe there isn't > >

The very last speech bubble in this comic may be one of the biggest lessons anybody who could be cited as an authority can learn. It is interesting to see it come from a reporter trying to craft a career defining story too. I think I like her.

It's late, but it's up. An extra cute edition of Dissonance.

Man am I glad that none of this is technobabble. It all actually makes sense the way its supposed to!

Legitimate scientific concepts discussed professionally and accurately in webcomics? What has the world come to?

I can't really talk to James, obviously, but I would be arguing that she is, in fact, possible through evolution, albeit very unlikely... but that's the keynote OF evolution! biggrin.gif

She is kind of a crocoduck. Though not quite as ugly.
