I've tried posting amazing sciency? Sciencish? Well, headlines about discoveries made by really smart people here before. This one however kind of fits in pretty well with Dissonance. Meet the Collodictyon A strange creature with traits like those of protists and amoebas. It is being considered a new kingdom of life and the remotest ancestor of animal life. They knew about this life form for a while but only recently were able to culture it and record its genome.
