Lord Fear Adventures

Story 1 – Episode 1 – Nemesis of the Daleks

---Hyrule Field---

In the night sky, the moon was up as high it is being the middle of the night, moonlight being reflected of the field as the wind softly blows along it.

Whooshing sounds are heard as a 1960’s Police Box slowly materializes on the vast field, once the sounds stop and the Box fully materialized, a figure steps out of the doors of the box wearing leather cowboy boots, black trousers, a white shirt, a Edwardian bow, a yellow and blue chequered waist coat, a red rain coat, and a 13 foot multi-coloured striped scarf that goes around his neck twice but the ends still drags along the ground, a helmet that covers all but his ears and face which is very pale but slightly tanned with rings around his eyes that connect around his nose and a brown hat that sits slight on his head, he has rings on all his fingers except his thumbs.

“This can’t be right” said the figure, “I’m sure I set the TARDIS’ co-ordinates to Earth, well since I’m here, I Lord Fear, might as well have a bit of a explore.”

With that Lord Fear slams the door of the TARDIS shut, signalling that it is locked as he begins to walk of into the distance.

---Elsewhere at Lake Hylia---

On a vast lake, a lone Hylian sits in a boat with a fishing rod standing by his feet with some of the reel in the water.

“Mmmmmmmm… Fish” drooled the Hylian.

Little did he know that he was being watched from beneath the waves, an Eye stalk raises and spies on the man, its gun raises

“EX-TER-MIN-ATE”

The thing fires a projected energy blast at the Hylian, blasting through the bottom of the boat hitting the Hylian making him go flying out of the leaking boat and landing face down into the water while the boat sinks.

---Later---

In the Market Town, everyone was busy doing their daily round of shopping unless you’re the odd man out, Lord Fear walks along looking at the various stalls, while keeping a straight path.

“I wish I had the local currency” mumbled Lord Fear

Lord Fear continued up a path until he reaches a large gate with a guard in front of it dressed in armour holding a spear.

“Halt” called out the Guard as Lord Fear reached the gate.

“Have I done something wrong? Not that I always do” said Lord Fear drawing circles on the ground with his boot.

“You’re not allowed passed this area unless you pay 40 Rupees” said the Guard.

“Would you like a Jelly Baby instead? Go on they’re very good” said Lord F as he extended a paper bag.

“Very well, but don’t tell anyone I let you passed” said the Guard as he took a Jelly Baby, the Guard then tapped the base of his spear on the floor opening the gate, once the gate was opened, Lord Fear stepped through and it closed behind him.

“Thank you” said Lord Fear as he began walking up the path, which was until he noticed a guard at the other end, forcing him to stray of the path and hide behind the tree.

“Great, I could be stuck here all day” mutter Fear as he look around the tree to see where the Guard was, when the Guard began looking in the trees’ direct Lord Fear stood still behind the tree like a tree.

The Guard finished looking in the trees’ direction; this allowed Lord Fear to move over to the wall where some vines were hanging down from the wall, he checked the Castle Gate entrance to see two Guards looking for intruders; Lord Fear began to climb the vines slowly so he wasn’t making a noise.

“They must lead boring lives” he said as he reached the top and climbed to the other side of the gate and slowly jumped down to the floor below a few metres behind the guards.

Lord Fear creeps behind the Guards and then walks away from them once he has passed, he walks a couple of more kilo metres before turning a corner and coming to some boxes that have been pushed into a moat.

“Saves me the job of pushing” said Lord Fear backing to the wall.

Lord Fear started running to the edge and jumped when he reached the end of the box to grab hold of a ledge with water coming out and pouring on Lord F

“I hate it when something like this happens, annoying to the max” said Lord Fear as he crawled in the gap where the water was purring out.

---Inside the Castle---

Princess Zelda sat by a fountain thinking to herself, she looked at he ring finger on her right hand to look at her wedding ring, she had been married Link for a year, with her fathers permission of cause, she rested her other hand on her abdomen which had a slight hump on it, she had entered her fifth month of pregnancy.

“Typical Link, always going around trying to solve problems rather then performing his royal duties, seems like once you’re a hero always a hero.”

“Sounds like quite the adventurer”

Zelda turns around to see Lord Fear’s torso sticking out of the hole where the water is flowing out.

“Who are you?” asked Zelda

“I’m Lord Fear, but just because my name sounds evil-like doesn’t mean I am evil.” said Lord Fear tipping his hat to Zelda.

“I’m Princess Zelda; it is nice to meet you Lord Fear.”

“It’s an honour to meet you your majesty, I would bow but my legs are stuck in this hole, and I would also offer you a Jelly Baby if I could reach my coat pockets.”

“What’s Jelly Baby?”

“It’s something from the future, I’m not from here you see, I’m a bit of a time traveller to be honest”

“That would explain your weird clothes”

“Exactly your majesty.”

“Please, just call me Zelda”

“Yes your ma- Zelda” said Lord Fear getting his legs out free from the hole and now stands up dripping wet.

“Do you need any new clothes?” asked Zelda

“No I rather keep my own, speaking of clothes, time for a quick drying off”

Lord Fear waves his hand in his direction so that his wet clothes suddenly become dry.

“How did you do that?” asked a surprised Zelda

“Technomagic my dear”

“Whatnomagic?” asked a bewildered Zelda

“Technomagic, you wouldn’t have heard of it, in fact no one would of” said Lord Fear as two guards approached them.

“Your majesty, a body has been found at Lake Hylia” said the 1st Guard.

“Dead?” asked Zelda

“Yes your majesty” replied the 2nd Guard

Zelda turned to Lord Fear who was in deep thought.

“Lord Fear, what do you make of this?” she asked

‘Strange, a dead body at a lake, that is unless…’ thought Fear before his eyes widened before saying, “Dragon’s Breath! We must go and investigate immediately”

“Yes my Lord” said both Guards as they turned and left with Lord F and Zelda following them.

“Do you know what could have caused this?” asked Zelda.

“Yes, I have nasty suspicions” replied Lord Fear whose face had a concerned look.

---Later at Lake Hylia---

Lord Fear and Zelda watch as the 2 Guards fish the dead Hylian out of the water.

“Do you think that he committed suicide by drowning himself?” asked Zelda

“No, I think it’s much worse then that I’m afraid… Jelly Baby?” asked Lord Fear held out a paper bag to Zelda.

The Guards carry the Hylian to Lord Fear ad Zelda and lays him on the ground as Lord Fear bends down and lifts up the Hylian’s tunic and places his hand over his heart and feels something is wrong.

“No element of tissue damage” said Lord Fear as he continued his diagnostic, “Ah, massive internal displacement”

“Meaning?” asked the 1st Guard.

“His insides are scrambled” replied Lord Fear pulling back the Hylian’s tunic and standing up.

“How is this possible?” asked Zelda.

“Projected Energy Weapon”

“Projected what?” asked the 2nd Guard.

“A laser beam so to speak” said Lord Fear.

“But we can’t produce such weapons” exclaimed Zelda.

As Lord Fear was to reply, the Guards fly slightly into the air and land on the floor with their eyes rolled to the back of their heads.

“I have some nasty suspicions” said Lord Fear as he and Zelda turned around to see some Hylians, Gorons, Zoras and Gerudos with head sets on their head and zombie like expressions, in their hands were either flamethrowers or laser guns.

“What are they?” asked Zelda who had a worried look on her face.

“I’ll explain later” said Lord Fear with a stern look in his face.

Little did they know, a Eye stalk slow raised out of the water attached to a grey dome with two indicator lights either side of the stalk, then a round black grill attached to the bottom of the dome came up, then grey panels that went around it except it went thin at the front where a gun appeared along with a plunger with a stick attach to it.

“When I say run, turn and run in the Lake” said Lord Fear as he and Zelda started to slowly reverse.

The thing continued to rise as 11 sided grey base came up with black half spheres on each side of the base along with a black base underneath it.

“Run” called out Lord Fear as he and Zelda turned and ran forward a step before hitting the breaks as they saw the thing rolling on to the beachhead of the Lake.

“What in the name of the Goddess is it?” whispered Zelda.

The thing then began to advance at Zelda and Lord Fear as he said one and one word only.

“Dalek”
